Strong governments ensure that citizens won't be exploited????????? Strong governments usually exploit those who don't vote for them! Exploitation is fine with such governments, as long as it's the other side that's being exploited.

This is not a debate suitable for this topic. However what ever we think about governments they are usually elected. Big businesses who want weak governments are not. You're the one who brought it up. Yes, the gap between rich and poor is less in socialist countries, where uniform poverty is more the norm. Actually, very few socialist countries are left any more due to people having caught on to why the gap is less.

Now, back to the topic at hand: Human beings never did live to be 800 years old. Perhaps one day medical science will progress to the point where we will, but it will probably be too late for me anyway.
