Yes, but we live in the real world arbitor, where everything doesn't run perfectly and these things called moral dilemmas occur, making the world quite a complicated place and not quite that simple.

The real world where real human beings are being killed because their real mothers are hiring doctors to cut them into small pieces and remove them from their bodies.

What other moral dilemma can you think of in which killing another human being is a rational answer?

the method to solving a moral dillema such as this is simple. lets weigh the deaths. there are thousands of women who need abortion for medical issues and would die if it were illegal, and there are millions of babies who are killed becuase it is legal. you have to decide which is better. saving thousands of women or millions of babies. saving the millions of babies is the obvious answer. there you go. dillema solved.

This hits home with me.. I was 12 when I became pregnant. My mother was the only one working two jobs and taking care of my sick father before he passed. My mother and I decided it would best to have an abortion. Let me say this... my family do not believe in abortions but at that time who would have helped take care of the baby, my sick father, play dolls with me(lol) and help me with homework? The government???????????Nope

I think that even if a 12 year old gets pregnant by making their own choices, it would not be a terrible thing to have the baby and then give it up for adoption. I know people will say there are more kids up for adoption than people can handle, but I believe that even a child growing up in a foster home is better than never having a shot at life.

Now I know your situation was tough, and I am not trying to judge you, but I feel like abortion needs to be outlawed in all cases except rape, incest, and if it would kill the mother.

No problem. Many of times my mom was upset that we went against our family morals but at that time it would have been extremely hard. That is why I am very involved in teaching abstinence and staying in a child's place. Abortions hurt physically and emotionally.

It is VERY hard to find a baby in the US for adoption due to abortion. When parents here found out that Russia and surrounding areas would adop their children out to Americans, they went like hot cakes, then other countries. Now there are waiting lists for those countrys. The family next door adopted babies from Korea because the list was to long in the US. I know many parents who cant find babies, though you can find 7 and 8 year olds. My daughter who I adopted is now 8 but I have had her since she was 4 from foster care.

Who exactly, is suggesting that a woman can't terminate a pregnancy if her life is in danger? A woman has as much right to defend her life, if it is in danger, as anyone else. One who represents an imminent threat to your life doesn't have to have intent in order for you to still have the right to kill them or let them die. For example, a lifeguard can justly let you die if you are thrashing and flailing to the point that you would endanger his life if he got too close to you. You had no intent to harm him but were a real and present danger none the less. If a doctor tells a woman that she will die if she continues a pregnancy, she has every right to defend her life.

Had you put your child up for adoption, it would be living right now with a family that genuinely wanted a child and was able to care for it and would have paid for your medical expenses during the pregnancy. How was killing it the better choice?
