Wikipedia. Maybe next time you could check it out when you have questions like that. Or maybe google it. I can't be your fact-checker. I have better things to do.

They also ignored the 4th. Amendment which guarantees a person the right to be secure in their persons, and the 5th. Amendment which guarantees a person the right to life absent due process of law as does the 14th.

That is why they had to be certain that they cast the babe in the womb in the light of "non-human" so as to deprive them the right to life. Much the same argument was made in the deciding of Plessey.

Also in Roe a fact that is often overlooked was the comment by the Court that if science should ever determine that life began at conception then their ruling would be moot. So, even though the majority of scientists support the belief that life begins at conception the Court now rules that it would have an adverse effect on society to reverse Roe since abortion has now become the custom of the land.

And the SCOTUS also approved of slavery. See The Dred Scott Decision.

You might Google it.

Nobody who is pro war can legitimately claim to be pro life.

It is a ridiculous position to hold.

Which is why Gipper is so good at holding it

Stopping Hitler in WW2 saved many lives.

What is pro war anyway? Is that someone who livs and dreams to start and be in as many wars as possible? I am very pro life but I am also glad there was a WW2 that stopped Hitler.

and how do you qualify such a statement?

Pro Life is the result of protecting the DEFENSELESS life.

Common ... your ilk support

  1. Killing unborn babies
  2. Protecting the life of murderers
Maybe through some type of research they can figure out how to make a fetus kill people so they can live too.

Face it - that statement is such a stretch ...

What about capital punishment?

Do you support that?

A system that guarantees that innocent and often mentally ill people are killed by the state for crimes they did not commit.

Is your pro life that kind of pro life?

Or what about hunting? taking the life of animals for fun - is it that kind of pro life?

Or is some random religious based piece of inconsistent crap that appeals to the stupid?

Pro life is about protecting the defenceless life??

Like Afghani or Iraqi childrens' lives do you mean??

Naw - those people know that their support is bringing hell down around them ... face the fact ... they are in a WAR!!
If my area was in the middle of a battleground ... my wife and son would be out of here quick, fast, and in a hurry ... even if they had to walk.

... then again - people like me make judgment based decisions - that is why no fruit of my loin has been aborted.

Also - I would never support some group who has bought a region of a country on ILLEGAL PRODUCT sales.

That is the difference between me and the other side ... I won't roll over because I allowed some illegal drug organization to put me on a leash of obligation.

... and now for you ...

OMG ... are you REALLY THAT CLUELESS??
try to read post #1869 and see if that concept is easier for you to figure out.

Are you just running off on a tangent and not reading the responses?

So you are saying that if you were an Iraqi famly and were having missiles and bombs rained down on you you would just get up and leave?

Ditto if you were an Afghani family.

And if they don't do this it is the fault of the children and they deserve to die so your pro life insurance doesn't cover them?

You are a monster

... and slaves where legal too ...

Just a note here...

This fact has become an over-used device in these threads by both the left and the right. With it, any decision the Supreme Court renders can be dismissed out of hand... making it effectively, meaningless. I think we all can agree that slavery was wrong and that our government and society eventually got it right by outlawing it.

Now can we please find a more original talking point to trot out?

ATM, you asked for the constitutional basis behind the decision and I provided it for you. Remind me never to tell you the score of last night's game...
WTF ... are the friggin Packers YOUR God?

As I stated previously, Although I do agree with this court decision, I don't agree with every decision the court hands down. (who does?) So no, the court is not my "God". It is however, one of the three main branches of our government, and I respect its role and authority. When we find ourselves in opposition to the courts decisions there are avenues available for us to pursue. My advice to you: pursue them... eventually, you just might change the law to your favor.
