Abortion

Margaret Sanger, founder of planned parenthood was a proponent of eugenics and wanted primarily to offer birth control as a means of eliminating "weeds" she even said:

"We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population," she said, "if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members."

Truly amazing statements. You would think the baby killers would recognize this terrible holocaust, but to the contrary, they want more murdered babies.

Nothing is more evil and demented than an abortionist.

I think there is room for some to be in error rather than evil and demented. I am sure that many young mothers-to-be were lead astray and made a choice that they regret later when they think about it with a more clear head. In fact:

"Studies within the first few weeks after the abortion have found that between 40 and 60 percent of women questioned report negative reactions. Within 8 weeks after their abortions, 55% expressed guilt, 44% complained of nervous disorders, 36% had experienced sleep disturbances, 31% had regrets about their decision, and 11% had been prescribed psychotropic medicine by their family doctor."

But for those who know that an unborn child is a living human individual that we would recognize to be an innocent baby and yet they still completely reject their obligation to protect innocent human life against the relatively trivial right of privacy of a mother who is experiencing an unfortunate consequence almost always as a result of her own choices - then it is hard not to see them as evil.

In fact I would go so far as to say that a certain senator who voted to permit living born babies to be placed in a linen closet to die of dehydration as an extension of abortion rights would be a monster.

(One thing I discovered when I found that link above is that while one of the arguments in favor of abortion is that back room abortions are dangerous, the statistics show that clinic abortions are pretty dangerous too and the number of women experiencing complications now is much higher than the number of women who experienced complications back when most states made it illegal to kill babies.)

Agreed. I did state abortionists. A women getting an abortion is not an abortionist. The so called doctors and nurses who perform them are the evil demented ones. I would include politicians who openly advocate baby murder. And, our president is at the top of the list. His approval of baby murder after a botched abortion should have disqualified him for the presidency - in a sane nation.

That does sound like proof that our nation is not sane.

However, I had a class in college on persuasion and one of the lessons was that if you hit people with a not-very shocking message many people will change their position only very slightly. If you hit people with a shocking message only a few will change enough to become converts.

In other words a shocking message gets ignored by most people. People are just not willing to believe that a candidate for president would actually have knowingly voted for allowing already born and alive babies to die in a closet as an extension of abortion rights. You can prove it as much as you want but it is just too hard to believe something that shocking. Da Nile really is a river in Egypt.

Similar to the Left's greatest hero's statement - "One death is a tragedy. A million deaths is just a statistic." The American left media ignored and even covered up his atrocities. Times they are NOT a-changin'.

Cold-Blooded Child Murder and the Loophole

I warn you, this story is very disturbing.

In Virginia, a mother gave birth to her baby and then suffocated it. Virginia law enforcement is powerless to charge her. As Investigator Tracy Emerson put it:

"In the state of Virginia, as long as the umbilical cord is attached and [the] placenta is still in the mother, if the baby comes out alive, the mother can do whatever she wants to that baby to kill it," Emerson reports. "She can shoot the baby, stab the baby or anything as long as it is still attached to her in some form by umbilical cord or something, and it's no crime in the state of Virginia."

This not the first time that this has happened in Virginia, but the abortion lobby has legislators too scared to act. As long as the baby is "attached" to the mother and it is not a person.

This case highlights the abhorrent absurdity of defining down "personhood" to protect abortion. The abortion lobby will let many more babies die this way rather than enter the discussion on when the baby becomes a person.

Terrible are the wages of sin.

I was curious about this one quote from your article: "...the abortion lobby has legislators too scared to act."

How has the "abortion lobby" scared the legislators?

There is an overpopulation crisis, so I'd say that abortion is allowed, at least as long as there is this crisis. But only embryo's without complex develloped nervous systems can be aborted, because otherwise the foetus will be a sentient, conscious, feeling being.

Overpopulation is a myth and I am afraid that you just can't build a rational argument in support of anything upon a myth.

Many on the Looney Left believe overpopulation is a huge problem. So, by their illogical logic, killing the unborn is the answer. How sweet, nice, and tolerant of them. They also promote the one child only mantra.

If there were too many polar bears or any other species, would the Looney Left want them killed to limit their population? I think not. So, we can conclude they only want humans culled. This must be a form of insanity.

Please post some evidence that overpopulation is a myth. I want to be educated on the subject.

Sorry but I do not generally desire to waste my time.

Anyone who believes murdering the innocent unborn is a good policy for managing overpopulation even if it existed, is not worth my time.

"As a former fetus, I am against abortion."

I am sorry, but if you were so not arrogant, you would have noticed that the question was not for you. I am not interested in anything you have to say on any subject.

I'm not a fan of abortion either, but some of the people who post here make me think about reconsidering my stand on retroactive birth control.
