Where Would We Be, Without Democratic Economies?????

Werbung:
Unfortunately, with apologies to the dull and ignorant, the US economy is in serious trouble due to the unsustainable national debt which has grown twice as fast under Democrat House spending as it has under Republican House spending.

Entirely BS. Projections by people who have no industrial skills. These are the same people speculating about mining asteroids. Silliness in its purest, undiluted form. Have you ever looked a picture of a strip-mine? Or a refining mill to process the bulk materials into a state that can be refined into a useable feedstock to have the target elements extracted, then you need to ship it back to Earth? All that equipment has to be sent to the asteroid first along with people, food, water, energy, blah, blah, blah. There is no substance worth less than rubies & emeralds that are worth the cost of space transport. A true fool's errand bandied about by idiots who can't make breakfast.

We all know how well renewables served TX a couple years ago when freezing weather shut down large areas of windmills. Can you imagine how much rare earth material has to be excavated to make batteries on the scale they are projecting? If you want to store 85 kWh for a Tesla to go a meager 225 miles with a 1200 lbs. battery you need to excavate & process 500 times as much earth (500 x 1200 = 600,000 lbs.). That's as much as one of the giant end-loaders can move in one day. That battery is good for 100,000 to 150,000 miles. (Keep in mind that the electricity is separate and doesn't just pour out of your wall.) So how big & expensive does a short-lived industrial scale battery have to be? You young people should want to know the numbers because it's coming out of YOUR wallet, -the costs and the limitations on your freedom of movement. As always, beware of what you wish for.

And, the most important concept: CO2 is NOT a pollutant. Plants use it to grow by using one C & one O molecule and release the other oxygen molecule as AIR we breathe. Plants can't live without it, and we can’t live without the O in the atmosphere. Plants and animals are part of a circular system: we need them, they use us. The Earth has evolved over the eons to where we are now and CO2 has never been at toxic levels. The higher the CO2, the more green growth it will support, like trees which are carbon storage vessels: as WOOD. The sun provides all the energy in conjunction with water to produce "climate". The climate is self-moderating by the production of sun-blocking clouds when temperatures rise, and dissipation of clouds when the atmosphere cools. Back & forth, back & forth, stable on the grand scale. Weather is highly variable locally, but always averages out within limits we can predict and live with. We can see bad weather coming via satellites and avoid their worst effects and that's why death and property damage are greatly reduced from storms today. Look up the numbers.

95% of all harmful gases are produced by volcanoes. The remaining 5% is produced by blowhards like MSNBC.

Ah the stupid argument that co2 isn't a pollutant lol. Feel free to breathe a 100 percent co2 atmosphere and get back to me for example

Chemicals can be good or bad depending on the circumstances duh. Too much water can kill you just like too little for example

Co2 hasn't been a problem in the past? So what. Lol. We are talking about the future.

Until 1945 being blown up by nuclear weapons wasn't a problem either, I guess right wing logic says the Japanese victims weren't really hurt by them? Duh

My most-dramatic experience was at a brewery, in Boulder, CO.
.
A friend, of mine (and, the brewer, he knew, there) took me on a tour. Eventually, we came-upon one o' those plastic 55-gal. barrels, where the CO2 was being expelled. A hose, from the vat, ran into that barrel....that was (approx.) 2/3 filled with water. I was told..."Go ahead and take a hit outta that barrel!!" I'd assumed they were talking about a smell. When I put my face just-below the top-edge of the barrel...and, attempted to take a "hit"....I almost blacked-out...but, was caught, before I hit the floor. Because of it's density, that CO2 goes nowhere....except over the top-edge of the barrel, as volume increases.

Morons who falsely believe they can fix the weather they falsely believe is broken do not seem to understand how essential CO2 is for the plant production of oxygen.

Shutting down fossil fuels due to imagine dangers is creating real dangers with the resulting degradation of energy sources essential for modern living.

Leftists fail to understand that if volcanoes are producing dangerous levels of CO2 then there is nothing to worry about since life has continued as it has for thousands of years in spite of volcanoes.

wow, what a stupid post. lol

of course people understand how essential co2 is to plants. duh.

but TOO MUCH co2 is the problem here. More than the plants need so it builds up in the atmosphere and captures heat.

i hope someday a right wing person posts here who isn't a science *****, but so far, i'll have to keep hoping. lol
