Oh, yes there have been a few articles written about the abuses by the 'Hetero-males' in our armed forces and for everyone that is reported there are numerous ones that go unreported for years by the women because they are trying to hang on until they can retire from their years of service so that they don't get run out of the military by the 'POWERS THAT BE'...they chose to serve and wanted to make a lifetime of their service too! ;)

had you read my link you would have read about a male raped who cound not bring himself to talk about it for years. reporting it cuts both ways.

Well of course you're not making 'light of the trauma' but as with the longevity of the abuses/rapes and then the upper echelon ignoring the plight of the women this is just a fine example of being "DOUBLE RAPED", once by the perpetrator and then again by the people who should have stepped up to help stop the abuses.

One of the links that I provided had that exact story that you mentioned!

I'm not conceding anything...{what was there to concede?} that humans have/will be horrible to others and some can be perverse in their attacks to go as far as sexually abusing another...you either don't remember or have blocked out the heinous things that were done to some of the first black soldiers who were bivouacked with the whites in the same barracks. Your POINT was so minuscule as to be a nanosecond of time...but for the victim I'm quite sure that the mental scars outlive the physical ones for him!

You have read research articles saying that homosexuality does not exist in animals? Citations please. The book I have cites hundreds of research papers on the subject by researchers all over the world. I would be happy to see your citations.

Some people have disagreed with Boswell but no one has yet been able to fault his scholarship on the subject. And the additional works about gay marriage around the world show that marriage has been many things in many cultures. Shoot, even the Bible has plural marriage and the story of David and Jonathon--which you don't want to talk about obviously.

You seem moderately hysterical, Al, ease up a bit. You're wrong about the word "abomination". It was never used in the orginal Bible, nor was "homosexual". Abomination is the word that was substituted for the Jewish term meaning a Jew breaking Jewish law. It did not and never has refered to anyone else.

As I have noted, homosexual behavior is very widespread in the animal kingdom, especially among the higher animals, just as it has existed in all cultures for which we have records. What's more it appears to have survival value as well. Your idea based on the Bible, that it is a perversion and needs curing is hardly supported by anything but scribbles in the Bible.

And while you have not yet responded to my question, I have to suspect that you believe that transsexuals are homosexual in some fashion. Not true though, being trans is a birth defect and has nothing to do with one's sexual orientation. Trannies have all the same choices as everyone else--they can be straight, bi, or gay. Transsexuality is a discontinuity between brain gender and body gender.

Why not? Is there something inherant to just men that makes them more of predators? I was almost gang-raped by five lesbian girls when I was in highschool. I've heard through my daughter of dozens of accounts of lesbians being forceful with hetero girls, taunting them for dating boys and actually ridiculing them for it. One lesbian my daughter knows kept a mutual hetero girl psychologically hostage and would stalk her when she was with her boyfriends, be verbally abusive to her and so on until she had her beaten down. The girl is now "converted" to being a lesbian.

I think it's very bigoted of you to assume that men have less sexual control than women. It's breaking even from what I've seen in those adopting "masculine" roles, be they men or lesbians.

I find it fascinating how you always have a pertinent personal experience to draw on when you wish to make a point. Of course you've lied before so I suspect you may be again. The fact that you had a relationship with a gay man who dumped you, and now you tell us about lesbian rape in your past makes me think you have a vivid imagination and a perhaps unrequited sex life.

Any woman who thinks men are not more sexually-driven than women are is simply not paying attention. If 3 out of every 5 women is assualted by a man in their lives that seems to be somewhat suggestive of an aggressive sexual appetite not generally found in women. I would be interested in seeing some stats on how many lesbian rapes happen, I'll bet it's a vanishingly small number.
