Feds Reject Offer by Arizona Gov. to Reopen Grand Canyon Using State Funds

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer said Friday that federal officials declined her offer to reopen the Grand Canyon using state funds.

“I offered to reopen the Grand Canyon to visitors by using state money, but federal officials declined my offer,” Brewer said in a Facebook post. “I really shouldn’t be surprised that the Obama Administration doesn’t want Arizona’s help.”

I find it interesting how the sheeple continue to believe the MSM that this is all some how the fault of the Republicans. Is it not the Democrats who refuse to fund any aspects of the government, despite all the effort of the Republicans to do so, including funding the NIH bill and denied children of cancer treatments?

Is it not the Obama regime denying veterans access to their own memorials and shutting down private businesses in the process? Is it not the Obama regime now asking for "sob stories" concerning the government shut to to maximize the exploitation of what the Democrats are doing here, all to tactically some how blame the Republicans?

Obamacare was passed 100% down partisan lines. Obamacare has already proven to be incredibly destructive to this Country with not even one success story in the news related to it's implementation.

The Republicans are right to make a stand against Obamacare and there is no evidence to suggest they are wrong. It is the Democrats who are the obstructionist here ... clear, plain, and simple.

Despite what the sheeples believe .... apparently most Americans realize this.

I all reality .... that will happen again in 2014. But, you have to calculate in the democratic voter fraud machine. Holder is already suing Texas, N.C. and other states over voter ID.

Can You Guess What Bill Harry Reid Just Passed During the Gov’t Shutdown?

In the midst of the federal government shutdown, the U.S. Senate took time on Friday to pass a resolution recognizing National Chess Week.

According to The Hill, Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid passed S.Res.266, which designates October 7-13 as “National Chess Week” Friday.

So, let me get this straight. Reid refuses to pass the NIH bill that the Republicans proposed which would provide cancer treatments for children but, he is willing to pass S.Res. 266 to designate a National Chess Week.

If President Barack Obama continues to refuse to negotiate with House Republicans, the country may default on its debt, House Speaker John Boehner said on Sunday.

During an appearance on ABC’s Sunday program “This Week,” Boehner was asked what will happen if Obama maintains his position not to negotiate over raising the debt limit.

“If he [Obama] continues to refuse to negotiate, the country is going to default?” a stunned George Stephanopoulos asked Boehner.

AMBER Alert Website Goes Offline Amid Government Shutdown, Michelle Obama’s ‘Let’s Move’ Website Stays Up

The official website of the AMBER Alert program has been taken offline, due to the federal government shutdown.

“Due to the lapse in federal funding, this Office of Justice Programs (OJP) website is unavailable,” a message greeting visitors now reads on the website.



It was immediately unclear when the website was taken down. However, it should be noted that First Lady Michelle Obama’s website for her “Let’s Move” campaign is still up, running and fully functional.
