Why do you think they were all Obama supporters? He didn't ask people what party they supported.

I don't know that they are all Obama supporters .... that's just what the headline says. It would stand to reason that they would be Obama supporters, considering most Obama supporters are just that uninformed ...

One thing is for sure ..... they are all IDIOTS and have no business commenting on politics ....... with the strict exception of entertainment purposes .... of course.

The videos were very funny. If the Obamacare bill is complicated how difficult it is to know the political party of the president After all there is only two but most of the respondents did not know. I am not saying we are more intelligent here in Australia. The Conservatives here just elected a Liberal Prime Minister and people in the senate supporting motorist and sport.

Since neither side is showing me a whole lot...here's my take on it. The GOP isn't going to
negotiate anything. They've made it clear that they will bring nothing to the table, and will only agree with that which puts them ahead. IMO, this whole thing centers around OBAMACARE, which is suppose to be so bad for the American public. Ok, that being the case: Should we go back to where it would cost us an arm and a leg to get health insurance? What's the difference between having the government or some insurance company, telling you what can, and cannot, be done?

Show me ONE person who doesn't have a "pre-existing condition", as the insurance companies call it. When an insurance company applies a pre-existing condition exclusion, it can limit or exclude coverage for that condition. http://tlc.howstuffworks.com/family/pre-existing-condition.htm

But as far as the shut down...how many politicians are going to lose money on this. They'll still get paid. Oh, yeah, they SAY they shouldn't...but talk is cheap...show me the PAY STUB. Actually, it's the democrats who continue to refuse to negotiate. The Republicans have proposed many different bills to partially fund certain government operations. All turned down by the democrats.

It's more complicated than that. The Democrats and 87% of the population want to remove any aspect of ending Obamacare from the budget bill at this point and will not negotiate. Many Republicans in Congress including the couple dozen tea party reps want to keep it in and will not negotiate about that. There are enough Republican votes to pass the bill now because they think it's irresponsible to bring the government to a standstill because of that scorched-earth stance.

Since both sides will not negotiate on their position of a “clean budget” bill, the whole theater of politics has gone to a different tactic. The Republicans want to make some exceptions to the total shutdown: They want interim funding for some aspects to soften the shutdown blow. The Democrats see this as theatrics and won't do this and won't negotiate this until Obamacare removal is stricken from the budget.

If Boehner put it to a vote right now, a “clean” bill would pass without ending Obamacare. The whole problem would then vanish (for a while). Boehner is caught between a rock and a teabag.

Here is my take: The Republicans in the House have tried to end Obamacare 37 times by bringing it to a vote and failing. By tying it to the budget bill they think they have a chance to do it again. But it isn't working and the Democrats are forcing Boehner to shoot himself in the foot.
