The American tradition is to have candidates chosen by primary elections decided by American voters, not political party heads. That being said, we all know Hillary and the DNC totally turned her 2016 primary into a farce by ousting Sanders by force and manipulation, otherwise known as stolen election tactics.

the democratic and republican party process is that primaries select delegates, and delegates vote for candidates.

You are kind of correct. That’s what happens when your candidate drops out late in the process. What happened was not only according to dnc rules but also legal.

I have no problem with what happened. Biden dropped out. Had Biden died in office she would be president without getting a vote. All legal.

What I have a problem with are democrats lecturing me about democracy. Biden was pushed out because he was trailing in the polls. There was no democratic process there.

The last sentence is your opinion. I know of no objective way to be able to claim that. In fact one could argue that it was the essence of democracy.
