The Prophecies of Nostradamus

That's your "interpretation" of religion... lol
uh, no, that's reality. no one can agree on what a specific religion actually means in any level of detail. Look at all the christian variations, for example, and within each one, each church isn't identical in beliefs, and individuals within churches, etc.

christians justified slavery for example when this country was started. Well, many of them did, enough to get it into the constitution, while others disagreed. and women were second class citizens at the same time, according to many christians. etc etc

Slavery in the US dates back to 1619. It was in existence in the 13 British colonies from the start, and it was popular among the revolutionaries, as many of them, especially in Virginia, did not enjoy picking cotton or chopping tobacco and preferred to leave it up to the slaves they purchased.

They even managed to get each slave 3/5ths of the representation of a free White man in the Constitution.

The British promised that slaves who would join their cause would be given their freedom, which they did. They resettled them in Freetown, Sierra Leone, hence the name.

The British ended slavery in 1833. There were some skirmishes, especially in Jamaica, but nothing as destructive as the US Civil War.

They all agree on the essentials: judgement, life after the death for the elect, the promise of Paradise...

Well, that is not entirely true. Your ONLY purpose is to humiliate, demean, and abolish faith. But two can play at this game!

But we aim for the realization of faith and not its elimination.

OH WELL!

He made the mistake of going after Nostradamus lol...

Thousands of early American Christians openly opposed slavery but the secular mob overruled devout Christians then just as they do today.

But you don't offer anything except to criticize. And this was the whole problem of the atheist skeptic movement and spelt their self-destruction.
So according to you, the "atheist skeptic movement" destroyed itself?

Aren't atheists all skeptics? Well, yes.
Are they a "movement"? Well, no.

Atheists are not a religion, they are simply people who share one single opinion regarding the existence of a deity.
They are like beer drinkers, or cheese lovers, or people who dislike raisins.
