Can you offer up any evidence that it was not due precisely to thier disregard for human rights?

You are giving the unborn the power of a monarch, giving them use of another individuals body against that individuals will, without due process or compensation, and under threat of force by the state.Again, not honest by a country mile. Your "wombfare" allows one individual absolute ownership of another to do with as they please. It gives the power of a monarch to one individual over another; here in the US where we went to war in rebellion of such power of one individual over another.
You should read some of your own replies sometime...By the way, I don't believe I have ever seen a response that was further away from the actual statements it was intended to rebutt. Congratulations.

...Of course through a clever bit of sophistry you claim that its purely a coincidence, that your only aim is to protect the rights of unborn but nevertheless, the result is precisely as I've described.

My position on abortion is this: Fetuses are not sentient beings. The woman is a sentient being. By sentient being I mean anything capable of emotions and non-instinctive thought. You can kill non-sentients because they wont realy feel it. They cannot comprehend sadness or pain. Thus, the woman's right outwieghs that of the baby.

Interesting point. Question... When does the "fetus" stop being non sentient beings?
Some are for abortion up to the due date of the baby, some are even for killing the baby once out of the womb and living after the baby survived an abortion.
What say you?
Ever seen the movie "The Silent Scream"?
No. Whats it about?
The baby is sentient after it starts showing emotions and intelligence[meaning attempting to try new things, playing with toys, etc.].
It is a video of an abortion. While very graphic, it is worth watching. I am sure it can be found online somewhere.
Have whatever opinion you want of it, but go watch it before making a call on it. Watch the reaction of the baby.
So at what point is this?
or maybe I should just ask
do you believe in abortion on demand for any reason upto the point the child is born?
If yes...
If no then at what point do you cut off the abortion on demand?
5th month, 6th 7th?
Do you believe its ok to "off" the child after its born if it was meant to be an abortion but survived?
