The Night They Dumbed Our Country Down

Cain is a Uncle Tom type of Black man. He says and does anything his Masters" the Koch brothers want him to say anddo, but they won't let him be elected anyway.

He is just there to try to bring in Black votes, then hand them over to whomever the KOch brothers will pick as "strawman.". But it will be a White man willing to do their bidding!

Face it, there isn't one current GOP candidate that is really electable.

If I were racist it wouldn't matter. All that would matter is that he is black.

You should avoid using that term in public down in SC. Its considered to be in very poor taste.

So true. We conservatives knew if he implemented his well known socialist beliefs, he would fail. And, he has failed by any objective analysis. Because socialism ALWAYS fails.

His bigger problem is his radical left wing ideology prevents him from doing the right thing. So, down with the ship he goes. I just hope he takes the hateful and intolerant ideology known as LIBERALISM with him.

Fail ? He's the best commander-in-chief in our lifetime. Sure he hasn't led us to a prosperous economy yet but he did pull us out of a total freefall from when he took over. And the Repubs have obstructed pretty much everything he's tried to do so you can't really blame him for their lack of caring about the country.

If you actually examine the economic data you will plainly see your above statement is false.

And the Repubs have obstructed pretty much everything he's tried to do so you can't really blame him for their lack of caring about the country.

Again, examining reality and moving past the political rhetoric, your statement is false again.

For a guy who had control of the House, and a near filibuster proof majority in the Senate, and who still couldn't accomplish all that much...I am interested in how exactly he rates as the "best commander in chief in our lifetime?"

well I've been around a lot of political discussions. Now granted, most of those who hate Obama are not racists. However, if you don't believe that at least a strong fiber of the depth of the hatred for him isn't due to the not that small percentage of actual racists there are in America, you're in denial. This argument crops up a lot because many of the Repubs on forums read that racist angle as a blanket statement directed at them. More often than not from what I've seen, when the accuser speaks in general about racism, he or she isn't saying the whole party is racist, but rather, that there's racism when it comes to Obama that is always present as a factor in the big picture. It may be just 6 or 8 percent of those who loathe Obama but that's still more than enough.

What is the precent of blacks that loathe and despise whites for their skin color as well? Racism is a two way street. Why is it ok for a black person to be racist against a white person, but when the tables turn, the **** hits the fan?

Good Lord...where to begin with one so delusional???

First, you claim he is the best commander-in-chief in our lifetime. You do know what that means right? That means you consider him an excellent war time president. That he has done a marvelous job continuing the wars in Iraq and Afghansh*tistan (where more Americans have died than all 8 years under Bush), and Libya. Your life time must be rather short because Bush was a better commander-in-chief than Obozo. And, I consider the progressive Bush one of our worst presidents ever, excepting Obozo and Jimma. So, you are wrong.

Second, your Messiah had two years of complete and total control of both Houses of Congress...You do know this right??? What that means my son is the Dems controlled everything in Washington. How could the Rs obstruct when they had no power to obstruct? So, wrong again sonny boy.

Stop believing the lies from BO and his media. Listen to me. I will tell you what to believe and not believe.

Cain is a Uncle Tom type of Black man.

You get a Progressive gold star for that comment! :p

You would have liked Popeye, he too liked to hurl racial insults at black Republicans and black Conservatives, while in the same breathe chiding Republicans and Conservatives as racists.

Well as he basically did what Bush had laid out, we know who the actual best is then.

This is the most racist post I have seen in a while at the HOP but it gets a pass because you are saying it about a republican.

and that is really sad!

Racist? Okay, call it that way.

I was actually talking to my friend (Black) yesterday, and was asking her how she would describe Cain. She seemed to have some reluctance to define this man. . .but it was NOT positive.

So, I asked her if maybe she saw him as someone who is sometime described as a "Oreo," her answer was very clear and direct: Oh, no! He is MUCH worse than that! He is more like an "uncle tom," turning his back on his people to please the White folks and get what he wants out of them.

If you choose to call this racist. . .be my guest. ;):)

Racism is a two way street. Clearly your friend (black) thinks Cain ought to associate with his "own people"...which inherently is racist.

Really? You don't think that your family, or your best friends should be "affiliated" with your political view? or at least, you do not with they would?

And you would take kindly to a person in your family calling you a profiter or too lazy to work, but benefitting from your parents' good fortune?

It is not so much about "associating with his own people," it is about "not throwing your own people under the bus in an effort to "belong" to another group of people.

I believe that felling transcend race, even religion.

Would you take more kindly to a Christian bashing Christianity in generalizing HIS self-righteous opinion, or would you understand the same bashing coming from an atheist, or a muslim, or any one else but a Christian better?

I don't judge a person based on their political affiliation...and if you do, you are an idiot.

And you would take kindly to a person in your family calling you a profiter or too lazy to work, but benefitting from your parents' good fortune?

I wouldn't think much of it, since such a claim is so far from reality it is comical.

It is not so much about "associating with his own people," it is about "not throwing your own people under the bus in an effort to "belong" to another group of people.

What "group" is Cain trying to belong to? White people? Is there any instance in which a black man can be a Republican in your opinion? Is there also any instance in which black people (or white people) can hold different opinions?

I believe that felling transcend race, even religion.

Would you take more kindly to a Christian bashing Christianity in generalizing HIS self-righteous opinion, or would you understand the same bashing coming from an atheist, or a muslim, or any one else but a Christian better?

I again wouldn't think much of it. If someone can make a rational argument to back up their assertions, then more power to them.
