The US is great in many ways, but clearly not in every way. It has the ability to be far greater, but there is an oligarchy that includes Big Oil and other corporations and the neofascist Heritage Society that is pulling it in the wrong directions. No intelligent person should support an ignorant buffoon like Trump. The US has the power to save the planet and it refuses to do so.

You hate big oil but what would you do if they did not exist

They don't migrate to Western Europe because they don't speak any of the languages they would need to function there. There are quite a few Americans who have migrated to Ireland, Scotland and England. There are a lot of Americans that have retired to Portugal and Spain's Canary Islands.

Not that you would know anything about such things.

In spite of all the talk many leading leftists who claimed they would leave the US if Trump lgot elected in 2016 did not leave the US. I rest my case.

Joe Biden has done a great deal of damage to 'big oil' to please his anti-American, anti-civilization supporters. He should not be proud of that damage. Sadly, Biden's damage to the energy companies the democrats demonize for purely political reasons has also done a great deal of damage to state and federal treasuries by reducing taxable incomes from those industries.

The Institute for Energy Resources, a free-market energy research group, updated its running list of actions President Joe Biden and Democrats have taken to make it harder to produce energy since Biden took office. The list has grown to 225 laws, regulations and decisions making it more expensive and take longer to produce oil, gas and coal.

The price is set by world parity prices so don't blame Biden for anything.
