1. There are three possible options for Trump on January 20, 2021:
(a) Holding onto power by any means
The "con artist" president may have his own "smooth transition" to a second term by “attending his own inauguration" in the White House on January 20 next year, as "joked" by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and echoed by White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, the "jump through the roof" economist Peter Navarro and Vice President Mike Pence.
The resentful White House loser may resort to delay tactics to hang on to another four years by filing flimsy lawsuits one after another (provided he could get enough donations to pay for all his disruptive lawsuits that are doomed to fail) and prodding his diehard followers and far-right militias into the streets to protest against alleged electoral fraud.
As for Joe Biden, the president-elect will have no choice but be inaugurated somewhere else outside the White House. In other words, the country will be de facto divided into two states -- the United Two States of America (UTSA or U2SA) -- in the next four years.

(b) Fleeing abroad after stepping down reluctantly
After stepping down reluctantly without conceding defeat, the "con artist" ex-president may go into self-exile or seek asylum in a country that is willing to accept him. From abroad, he could undermine democracy and the Biden administration by tweeting and spreading disinformation on television and in the print media.
(c) Sticking around after stepping down reluctantly
(i) After stepping down reluctantly with unsubstantiated claims of electoral fraud, the "fake news" ex-president may stick around to keep a tight control of his decadent party to lay the groundwork for his comeback in 2024. Wherever he is, the resentful White House loser could still undermine democracy and the Biden administration by tweeting and spreading disinformation on television and in the print media
Trump and his campaign team have been repeating a dire warning that Joe Biden would "abolish" the American way of life if the Democrat candidate wins the presidency. The "fake news" ex-president will still be able to enjoy his American way of life by playing golf most of the time, provided he could walk away from the court scot-free on charges of corruption and scandals. However, he has to pay for the golfing trips out of his own pocket after stepping down.

(ii) According to data maintained by the website TrumpGolfCount.com, the 45th U.S. president has clocked up 285 daytime visits to golf clubs since his inauguration, with evidence of golf being played on at least 142 occasions up to November 08, 2020....When a president decides to take a golfing trip, it is a pretty expensive undertaking with transport on Air Force One, Secret Service Protection and accommodation all quickly adding up.
...TrumpGolfCount.com estimates that Trump's golfing trips have cost American taxpayers $142 million so far. That total includes $59 million worth of trips to Mar-a-Lago on Air Force One, along with a long list of other items such as bills for Coast Guard security at the Florida property. The creators of the website have stated that they are tracking Trump's golf count in the wake of a promise he made back in August 2016 when he said "I'm going to be working for you. I'm not going to have time to go play golf".
