Background checks have proven to have very little effect on gun buying. The latest wannabe Trump assassin passed a background check and bought a gun after the FBI and Secret Service was already watching him because he made a threat against Trump.

I do oppose overreaching and unjust gun laws, especially since we continually see that gun laws are not working in big blue cities and in other cases like the Hunter Biden and Trump assassin cases.

Guns dont work anywhere when society is saturated with them. Usa has never recovered from the wildest days.
While they hand out guns to the vast majority of mentally unstable low IQ Americans, 35000 or more people will die every year.

Are you suggesting that nobody who passes a background check and purchases a gun uses that gun to commit murder? If so, maybe we could eliminate all other gun laws that are failing to keep thugs from murdering people and employ background checks to finally end gun violence, but I do not believe that is what would happen if gun laws were congested with even more gun laws.

Guns secure and protect freedom, regardless of foolish ideas to the contrary. Hundreds of mentally unstable Americans with high IQs have committed heinous crimes in American history.

Thugs can walk into a gun show and purchase a gun against the law because the law for background checks do not apply to private sales in gun shows. Yet right-wingers are adamantly against closing that loophole and use the very same loophole to claim gun laws do not work. It is a con.
