As per usual PLC1 .... your rebuttals are spin, lies, and untruths.
To start with, Fox News is not considered a left wing liberal website by even the most wacky of pundits from either sides. And, secondly, the Fox News article you referenced is about a report from the UN, not an opinion from Fox News.
In the report is states:
GENEVA (AFP) – The first decade of the 21st century was the hottest on record, marked by unprecedented climate and weather extremes that killed more than 370,000 people, the United Nations weather agency said Wednesday.
The UN report you referenced is from July of 2013. In a more recent report from last Saturday posted in the UK Daily Mail The UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the ultimate watchdog whose massive, six-yearly ‘assessments’ are accepted by environmentalists, politicians and experts as the gospel of climate science are now saying they got it all wrong. That in fact :
“Scientific forecasts of imminent doom were drastically wrong,”
And, more importantly they are saying that the earth’s atmosphere has stopped warming for the past 15 years.
The IPCC is the foremost authority on this whole global warming hoax accepted by environmentalist, wacko liberals and politicians alike. They are also cited worldwide to justify swinging fossil fuel taxes and subsidies for ‘renewable’ energy.
This more current report not only contradicts your reference from this "left wing liberal site" it also contradicts everything else that has been called science by the wacko global warming hoaxist.
So, once again .... (no offense my friend) but, your rebuttal is the stark opposite of reality!

When that happens it will be too late. 2/3's of the ice pack globally is already under the water level, and will not affect any sea rise. And since 2/3's of the globe is water, well, draw your own conclusions. Might help with the lack of water in Southern Cal though.
Of course, God destroyed the earth with water once, and said He would never do so again. Next time it will be with fire. Might think about that.

Get your facts right Kevin Rudd proposed to change the Cabon Tax to an Emission Trading Scheme which was always his goal after a few years of carbon Tax, He was not re elected.
Tony Abbott who was elected wants to scap the carbon Tax in favour of his Environment policu Direct Action. Both are aiming to reduce polution by 5% by 2020. There no climate skeptics among the poltical leaders in Australia.

We report, you decide. They call It fair and balanced. Kinda makes me wonder what exactly they used for measuring global temps back in 1850. Considering they discovered that the instrumentation used even 10 to 20 years ago was quite flawed at least it was far more widely distributed than way back when.

Most everything is an estimate using natures records such as tree rings, ice core samples, etc. I would imagine you accept the Little Ice Age that lasted from about 1100 AD to 1850 AD, right?

Old Trapper has shown estimates of temperatures before 1800 . While these are unreliable. THERE IS EVIDENCE IN HISTORY THAT Egypt WAS ONCE CONSIDER VERY FERTILE.THIS IS WHY THE RMAN EMPIRE TOOK IT OVER BUT DID NOT IMPOSE HARSH CONDITIONS LIKE OTHER COLONIES.
