That is what you claim. But Jehovah does not act in a rational manner, does he?
The belief is that God is omniscient, he knows everything, including the future.
So he plants the forbidden tree in the Garden, knowing all about the dangers of talking snakes and how stupid Eve and Adam are. He KNOWS they will disobey him. Though somehow the Bible claims that God didn't know what they had done because they were no longer naked. Humans have many reason for not wanting to be naked, and having dined on forbidden fruit is way, way down the list.
Then the Biblical character known as God decides that humans were mostly a mistake, and although he knows all about viruses and plagues (because he knows everything) he decided to flood the entire planet. But of course he knows in advance that Noah's descendants will screw up again, because he knows everything. He could have wiped out all humans with a simple virus, piece of cake, but noooooo, he decides to drown nearly all of the animals.
And THEN he decides to actually become a human and have a really bad weekend. And he knows in Year One that by Year 2024, there will be more humans that know that a Coca Cloa is and what to do with it than are aware of Jesus and what to make of him.
Belief in a deity is not all that silly, but belief in the loser deity in the Bible is really, really silly.
And Mark Francis is truly silly.
