Absolutely, I do agree that a Middle East in which all the players were proliferating nukes is not the way to go. Having said that, the largest nuclear power in the region is Israel, and yet no one seems at all worried about them.
Apparently you know little about the ME.
Nearly all the ME nations do not want a nuke Iran. They all fear Iran and know the Iranians want their Persian empire back plus they desire the return of the 12th Imam (look it up, as I suspect you are unaware) and the Iranian kooky leader has said over and over Israel must die.
Yes Israel has nukes...thank God for that. But, the ME nations know Israel is a rational nation unlike Iran. And, it has no desire to build an empire or believe in crazy fantasies.
Should we take people by their words or like you believe something else? Meaning your thinking is Iran would NEVER start a nuke war...why?...to what ends?... This is foolish thinking. But, you have much company. For example, most of Europe ignored the threats from Hitler's Germany though he made his intentions imminently clear.
You and Neville Chamberlain fail to learn from history.
