terrorism is an act by an organization using violence to change governmental policy. 911 was a declaration of war on the US by and organization. the definition is from the State Department and is different than ethnic cleansing and genocide.

There are numerous distinct differences between segregation and apartheid:
Segregation was a more elastic strategy which was not officially concurrent with religious ideas; apartheid was ostensibly based on a Christian National dogma of the 'calling' and 'mission' of Afrikanerdom.

The bible is full of doctrine that justifies violence on other people (those not of the "chosen"). When a people subscribe to a violent and vengeful deity such as the god of Abraham, Jesus, and Mohamed - is it no surprise they assume the guise of that deity in their actions? This whole conflict started during biblical times when a genocidal God reigned fire from the sky and smote all the enemies of Israel by strengthening their swords and people recorded it as a template to justify religious conflict. Abraham's God was on their side. Mohammed's God is on Islam's side. In the end, it's all the same: Judaic, Islamic, and Christian dogma all provide a solid framework for the dehumanization of fellow men. Oh, it may be disguised in the sheep's wool of tolerance and brotherly love, but beneath lies the wolfish steel of of genocidal domination: fundamentalism.
