God claimed he made men in his own image, but when he appears to Moses, he chooses to appear as flaming shrubbery.
If God knows everything, then he would have known that to dispose of he entire human race, flooding the entire planet was a very poor idea. All he needed was a viral disease and a few divine seconds making Noah and his family immune.
People have attempted to build an ark and float it, but a wooden ship of that size (the dimensions are given in the Bible) would not stay afloat for long.
Once the Ark finally docked on Mt Ararat, the animals could leave, but what would they eat, being as all the lands were flooded. No foliage for the vegetarian animals, and they would have starved. No bamboo for the Pandas, no gum trees for the Koalas.
