Oh, no! From the above, it looks as if you might be one of the Christian believers who think he might actually be the Anti Christ! Tell me it ain't so. I thought you were more rational than that.
You don't believe in the Bible, so how do you know either way on such an issue? In order for one to look at such a topic scientifically, you must examine the requirements, and then the evidence and data relevant to the requirements, correct? So since you have not done this, rationally speaking, how can you deny it? Can you prove a negative?
Didn't you hear Sean Hannity baiting naive young Obama supporters with "Do you believe in from each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs"? Where do you think he got that phrase?
I don't know from which specific time or place in which that happened, but if you don't know, Hannity has been doing that for ages. It's to determine just how far left, and how ignorant the general people are. He's been asking people that long before Obama was even a presidential candidate.
It's been so long, I don't even remember what the segment of his show was called, it was a field reporter putting average John Doe's off the streets on the air, and asking them general politics questions. That's one he often used. He's been doing that since at least 2005-6, before Obama was even known.
And he had tons of positive responses to that phrase as well. I personally have met some people that support that phrase without knowing it's marxist origin.
Didn't you get the email claiming exactly that? Did you think it came from Democrats? It was a viral email that must have gone to millions of Americans before the election.
I suppose that's part of the problem. First, I don't think I ever received that E-mail. Second I automatically assume any unsolicited Email is crap to be deleted instantly without opening or reading. Even if it is solicited, as in getting my address from something else I have used like Amazon, or Ebay, I still instantly delete it.
One reason for this, is that often in campaign politics, candidates often start rumors about themselves, in order to either defuse a potential issues, or even to incite sympathy by making absurd claims. In other words, the have their own people attack themselves in order to be portrayed as a victim.
It's possible such an Email, assuming it exists, could have come from a religious group, or just as easily come from someone working for the advancement of Obama.
I do not forget one of his first speeches in which he talked about race and people making fun of his name, even though, neither really happened. That didn't stop a slew of media articles and reports about all the people that (didn't) make fun of his name and his race.
In either case, an Email like that would be instantly trashed. When I say I haven't heard something, it means I haven't read someone post on here "Obama is a terrorist/Muslim!" on a forum like this, or on TV, or in direct communication, or even via overhearing others speak on the subject.
The only people I have talked to who thought Obama was a Muslim, were a bunch of other Muslims from Sudan and Yemen, and a couple of democrat Americans from the backwoods of Kentucky.
In other words, not a single conservative/republican. Not saying they don't exist, just that I have not met them.
