OK, I apologize for having misread your posts. I went on to look up Gnostic Christian to see just what that means:
I hadn't heard that definition. So, when you speak of religion it is from that point of view, and not really an atheistic point of view. I'll keep that in mind.
That is not my point of view. Thanks for telling me my view and not asking me.
If you would have read a bit more, you would have learned that most of what is written of us was written by the same Christian cult that used their Inquisition on my predecessors.
Just in case you care, which is doubtful, compare what you put to what is the true Gnostic Christian POV. Which happens to follow naturalist thinking.
Gnostic Christian Jesus said, "If those who attract you say, 'See, the Kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you.
If they say to you, 'It is under the earth,' then the fish of the sea will precede you.
Rather, the Kingdom of God is inside of you, and it is outside of you.
[Those who] become acquainted with [themselves] will find it; [and when you] become acquainted with yourselves, [you will understand that] it is you who are the sons of the living Father.
But if you will not know yourselves, you dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty."
When I look around, I see evolving perfection and the best of all possible worlds, given our past and entropy. We can imagine a better world, but that does not refute that this is the best of all possible worlds, as it is the only possible world thanks to our past.
What do you see when you look around?
Regards
DL
