oro..Let people believe what they want to believe in. If people find comfort in religion, why should this be a problem for anyone of us? Sometimes, religion is the reason people rise from poverty and make their lives successful, and sometimes religion is the reason people are able to overcome hard times in their lives. Let people believe in what they want to believe in.

As I have read some of your writings, I can tell you are a very educated and wise man. I am sure you have questions that I have no answers to; however, I know a man who has all the answers, Jesus. If you truly seek a relationship with him I assure you he will answer every question in your mind that needs answered. I did not write this post to anger or upset you, just in obedience to God.

I have discovered this to be true - Christ is an experience (FAITH) and not a subject for argument or debates.FAITH.. bottom line "if I knew all the answers and could prove God's existence through mathematical equation, we would have science not faith, for when there are no more unknowns, there will be no room for faith" MY FAITH & HIS GRACE are two wonderful things..

1) Religious belief becomes a problem when people start pushing their religious beliefs on others (ID, creationism, etc, all do this).

2) What is Jesus the answer to? Faith? Faith is a belief in something that cannot be proved. So how does a belief in something that cannot be proven provide any answers? The long and short of it is that it cannot.

3) You have every right to believe whatever you desire as long as it doesn't interfere with the belief of others. As for me, I moved on from bronze age mythology long ago.

4) If you want answers, the simplest route is to simply use your head. After all, what's the point of having a brain if you refuse to use it (I'm not suggesting here that you don't, just making a point)?

This thread started out asking us to prove God is not real. The burden of proof has been placed on the wrong side of this. If I were to say God is not real it would be because there is no evidence to prove that he does exist. Not believing in a God is default it is up to those who do believe to prove otherwise.

Science is good at the how questions: How did life evolve?

It isn't so good at why questions: Why are we here? Why does the human race exist?

Nor does the Religion God simply says he created everything he did not say why. The why indicates motivation so for there to be a why there needs to be a who. What makes you so sure there is a why?

We can believe that intelligent life evolved all on its own, with no intelligent guidance, or we can believe that intelligence created intelligence. Science tells us how life evolved, but can't tell us whether there even is a why.

It just seems more likely that intelligence created intelligence than that we just evolved out of the primeval ooze all on our own with no purpose.

But, of course, there is no proof one way or the other.

That statement presumes that humans are intelligent. Aside from that, compared to the intelligence that a creator of all would have to have, it would be more like a human compared to a one-celled creature. So, your statement makes little sense to me.
