If the truth was known prior to invading Iraq (we had no evidence, confirmed by numerious experts) -why was it not dispelled until after the invasion
Bush's statement doesnt conflict with anything I have said or support your assertions about what is "false".

Bush knew no Iraq link pre-9/11:
US President George W Bush was informed 10 days after the September 11, 2001 attacks that US intelligence had no proof of links between Iraq and this act of terror, The National Journal reported today.
Citing government documents as well as past and present Bush administration officials, the magazine said the president was briefed on September 21, 2001 that evidence of cooperation between Iraq and the al-Qaeda terrorist network was insufficient.
Bush was also informed that there was some credible information about contacts between Saddam Hussein and al-Qaeda that showed that the Iraqi dictator had tried to establish surveillance over the group, according to the report.
Saddam Hussein believed the radical Islamic network represented a threat for his secular regime...
Being the leader of a country means you make your decisions based on credible evidence - not conspiracy theory hogwash.
Either he knew and he lied (when he could have dispelled the rumor) because he was building a case for a war that had been on the table for some time, or he chose to disbelieve his experts and really is an idiot. Which is it?

Had his experts said there was no link, as opposed to we have no evidence of a link, you would have a valid point. They did not and you do not.

You realize there is no evidence to support the conspiracy theory claims that the Bush administration was complicit in 9/11. Does that make those claims "truth"?

The absence of evidence is the absence of evidence. Nothing more. It is not evidence of anything. ESPECIALLY in the case of alleged, secretive cooperation between a terrorist organization and a nations government.
