My 12 year old nephew figured out that Obama's pastor was a racist. He never said Obama himself was, though I do think he is. And no! I will not leave the politician alone. I will call them as I see them. I believe he is a racist but he is smart enough to know he cant say it out loud or he risks losing normal people's vote.

His pastor didnt just teach jesus, he tought Anti American Theology and a strange Marxist political view that the Obama’s have swallowed hook line and sinker. His wife has repeated much of the politics they learned in church in her meetings around the country!

You know John Freaking Kerry, I really disliked that man but I was personally offended when they started those flip flop adds on him because he said “I voted for the bill before I voted against it” every one clearly knew what he meant. He voted for it, and then they added pork and asked him to vote again and he voted against it because of the pork, but everyone made it sound like he was flip flopping.

This thing with McCain is the same thing, and it offends me just as much that people think we are that stupid. McCain said as long as no soldiers were being killed as long as it was peaceful, he didn’t think the people cared if we were there 50 years, 100 years or even 1000 years. He meant in the same way we have troops in Germany and other peaceful places.

The same thing with the tax cuts. McCain never said he was against the tax cuts, he said he was against giving tax cuts with out ALSO cutting spending. He said it would be recklessly irresponsible. But instead they twist it saying he was against it now he is for it. Why do people think others are this stupid? I’ll call a spade a spade even if it means I have to defend someone as disgusting as John Freaking Kerry.

Kerry did vote both ways on issues but the reason was there were different things attached at different times. Happens all the time with both Parties.

I wish any of that explanation were true about John McCain... I really do. He actually sponsored bills and is now against them. He railed against tax cuts to the wealthy and Bush economic policy. Now he's in love with it... wants it to continue.

And on the 100 years in Iraq... I saw it. He was dead bang serious. Clueless & Gung Ho... dangerous combination my friend.

I have said the same thing about his former pastor. When a character like Obama comes along who is special in what he has managed to do to this point and is different from the others in the race, they will attack anything they can to grasp at straws in thier desperation. The only person on this board that has made specific policy issue about Obama is Obamanation. And I think she is fair in that judgement. But there is far to much focus being put on things that those around him are saying, moreso than any candidate in recent history.

But “living” his administration could only be good for liberal socialistic, communistic, anti American type people….

They are both to the left of center, but nobody here is saying we need government ownership of everything. Also, Obama supporters arent anti-American, this argument holds little water.
Most of us care deeply about our country and firmly believe that he is the best candidate. I am a proud American, much like most others. I dont doubt for a minute that Top Gun isnt a proud American, just like you and everyone else who was fortunate enough to be born here or later naturalized.

Being disappointed and disagreeable with the actions of the leadership of the government is not indicative of ones care for thier country and its fellow citizens.

I know a great number of open communists. Though I might agree my state does seem to attract them, so this might not be a wider spread problem than locally. But the funny thing is every single one of them that I know are for Obama. Same with the socialists that I know, same with the anti American type people that I know. So I can agree a communist is not a socialist and not all socialists are anti American, they are all for Obama  at least from what I have seen. (Though most said they were for Dennis Kucinich at first)

I never thought you were not a proud American. I certainly don’t think of you as a communist, or socialist. Probably not even a liberal. I have talked more with you on the boards than anyone, I don’t know if the Obama supporters on this board are communists, socialists liberals or disgruntled republicans. I do know about the people in my community I talk to regularly about the topic. And mostly those are the people I am referring to when I generalize. I don’t know enough about anyone here on these boards to say their political leanings.

You say Obama is a racist. I have a question for you, which race does he favor? His mother was white, and he was raised by her. She is largely responsible for him being who he is. Seems to me that you fear having a person of color in the White House.

His pastor has no more to do with his political philosophy than McCain's endorsements from John Hagee and Rod Parsley have to do with McCain's. In fact, I believe that actively seeking the endorsements of Hagee and Parsley should call into question McCain's judgement. He claims he has so much experience, yet he couldn't muster enough common sense to vet these nut-case preachers before actively seeking their endorsements.

"Marxist political views?" how about some examples, and while you're at it, how about some proof that Wright speaks for Obama? I don't think you will be able to find any. But, Republican talking points are always easy to parrot, in lieu of facts...
