59 votes to 41...who is dead again? Just becuse your worthless republican party can now say hey we don't want to let you vote on anything, does not mean anyone loves the republican party. Dems ran a crappy candidate, and repubicans had a good one.

My limited personal experience with the members of the Tea Party that I have met have given me a very negative opinion of them.

Aside from that, I would say Independents elected Brown, not the Tea Party.

I think we should start an alternative to the tea party, "The Whiskey Party". The Whiskey Party should be the dems putting back a couple of shots and getting the "courage" to ram our agendas down the GOP's throats. We'd piss off some people but in the end rope in all our own and most of the independants besides.

Here is your example. One of the main Tea Party members that I have had interaction with is demanding a recall of a Senator. Unfortunately, that is not allowed by either the state of US constitution. She says that does not matter and she will continue to try to accomplish that goal.

It seems to me, that for a party that claims to be all about the Constitution to disregard what it says when it suits them, is one of the highest levels of hypocrisy.

Exactly...and it's unfortunate that with all of the media hype and Scott Brown's own words at this acceptance speech..."I thank all of those Independents"...didn't anyone else miss the fact that he didn't say 'thank all of those registered republicans who voted for me? GOOD GRIEF and then we have cutsey meandering quotes such as this gem:
