Mexicans should be glad we don't have the same immigration laws that Mexico has. I'll never understand why the citizens of Mexico have allowed their rotten government and drug cartels to get away with what they do. The majority of people I have met from Mexico are smart, hard working and brave. Why they don't organize and take back their country is puzzling. They would have a lot of support and help from the U.S. in their efforts to do just that.
I don't think they believe there would be help coming from here nor can they afford the firepower. Not sure there is even a line between the cartels and government anymore either.
The Mexican government and the police force were always corrupt and in bed with the cartels. I think the current government is better than in the past, but they still have major problems. At what point to the people get fed up and revolt?
The widow of that AZ rancher that was killed by illegals a few years ago gave an interview, and she said what she sees coming across her property are young mothers and children and elderly people. She was asking what was going on in Mexico that would cause these people to leave their homes and towns with just what they could carry. They sound more like refugees trying to escape a war zone. We can go half way around the world to intervene in a Muslim country's human rights violations, yet ignore the very same thing happening across our border. Doesn't make any sense.
Of course that isn't the solution, but how could you fight them, as all institutions are corrupted? The answer is to hurt them in what hurts them badly moneySo is your solution to just let them take over the country?
I would like to know if in the U. S. do you have such as many scapegoats as we do here in Mexico:
In 1970-1976 period, when Luis Echeverría ( nickamed as “Echebellaco” by writer Margarita Michelena) was the president of Mexico, the favorite scapegoat was “ “The Foreign compañies”
In 1977-1982, when José López Portillo ( Nicknamed by the people as “Lo pezco por pillo” [We get him, as a scoundrel]) was president, the scapegoat was “The God damned Banks” so he Nationalized them.
With Carlo$ $alina$ de Gortari, his favorite scapegoat was Joaquín Hernández Galicia The PEMEX union leader. The government “sowed” a dead body in his premises, because he made the union to vote against MR. Carlos $alina$ de Gortari
He sold Mexico to Carlos Slim now he’s the wealthiest man in the whole World.
Then when Mr Ernesto Zedillo took office, Mr. Bill Clinton had to lend Money to Mexico, because on December 1994, our currency went just to the bottom.
With Vicente Fox Quesada, the hope of change never came
We had the leftist demagogue Andrés Manuel López Obrador...,
....a marxist, similar as Hugo Chavez, fortunately lost the election against Felipe Calderon Hinojosa , by a very small range; less than 0.25%.
The scapegoat for Felipe Calderon were the very bad guys, the drug dealers
Up to this date, we have had more than 60,000 dead people, The government says that all of them are bad people.
I do not believe in the government. Do you have so many scapegoats as we do?
