Trump proposed saying to the OPEC oil countries, "either you start pumping more oil and lowering the price of oil, or we start charging you for the price of our military to defend your country.

I think that already is the deal. The problem is, to quote the Seinfeld show, they have hand; their oil is more important to us than our military is to them. Of course we could change that pretty quickly by letting our oil companies join all the other oil companies that are stationed just off our coasts and already drilling.

Trump is not going to run, and neither is Palin. Obama just might have to face a real candidate.

I would like to see a young senator with no dirty laundry or skeletons in his closet. If the pubs had any balls they would pick one from the tea party. The media could never complain that he did not have enough experience as long as he had just as much as Obama did. Of course, they would say it was not the same because while Obama did not have experience he wore brown socks and the new guy wears blue socks.

BO is the most beatable sitting president since the peanut farmer. And, he is one of the worst presidents in history.

I didn't say President Obama was not beatable...I just am not overly enthused about any of the Republicans right now...If I had to pick, I would pick Romney at the moment.

If Trump wants to not be treated like a joke, then he needs to stop acting like a joke. To date, he has done nothing except cause Republicans to look bad, and offer energy to the Democratic base, which had been overcome with malaise. Trump served up a huge political win by making an issue over this whole idiotic "birther" debate, and then being made to look ridiculous. My message to Trump: Stop energizing the Democratic base, you are not helping anyone except Obama.

His 25% Chinese tariff is absurd, and getting into a trade war with China is one of the dumbest ideas I have ever heard...especially when such a war is self imposed. It is ridiculous. Ultimately, I agree the US could win a trade war with China, but it would be devastating to millions of Americans, and there is simply no need for it.

So far, all we basically see Trump talking about is that he has made a lot of money (who cares) and that Obama was not born in the United States. All he has done is energized Democrats, made the race about an issue that Republicans cannot win on, and turned off independent voters....

Way to go Donald, instead of talking about jobs, the economy, and spending (issues Republicans can win on), you made the race about Obama's birth certificate, and you lost...pathetic.

thats ok he has a new issue...that Obama was somehow a bad student..and that there must be some reason his rich friends kids could not get into Harvard and yet he did...I guess in his mind poor students end up the head of the Harvard Law Review...especially when they come from a background without a lot of cash...also All Rich kids are smart and should be able to go to Harvard....

If he keeps at it, maybe he can get Obama to release his Pre school grades and have to prove that he actually went to Harvard...I mean all that paperwork and people who saw him could be fake you know.

The scholarships offered by these schools are some of the best in the country, IF you have what it takes to qualify for them. No money and bad grades ain't gonna do it in the "real" world, only in Pockets world.
