California Proposition 8

Re: California Proposition 8 Continued

Meanwhile I thought it might be fun to visit some of the terminology that the gay culture uses to refer to its various members and their peculiar kink.

There is no monolithic gay culture that every gay person is a part of or adheres to. You're making a generalization that because this list was found on one gay-themed website, that every gay person knows those words or practices what they describe.

Bill: "You know, those feminists all hate men."
Joe: "Really?"
Bill: "Yeah. I was in my philosophy class the other day and that Rachel chick gave a presentation."
Joe: "Which Rachel?"
Bill: "You know her. She's the one that runs that feminist group over at the Women's Center. She said that men are all sexist pigs. I asked her why she believed this and she said that her last few boyfriends were real sexist pigs. "
Joe: "That doesn't sound like a good reason to believe that all of us are pigs."
Bill: "That was what I said."
Joe: "What did she say?"
Bill: "She said that she had seen enough of men to know we are all pigs. She obviously hates all men."
Joe: "So you think all feminists are like her?"
Bill: "Sure. They all hate men."

Siho: "You know, those gays are all perverts and pedophiles who want to have sex with and indoctrinate our children."
Random forum member: "Really?"
Siho: "Yeah. I was surfing the internet the other day [for the most disgusting information about gays that I could possibly find in order to poison the well in the debate], and I came across this list that describes some gay slang and definitions."
Random forum member: "Which site?"
Siho: "This site called glinn.com, which is supposed to be about news and information for the gay community. They had a list of gay slang, and some of the terms [8 out of 446 definitions, or 1.8%] were slang for older men having sex with younger men or boys."
Random forum member: "That doesn't sound like a good reason to believe that all gay people are like that. So you think all gay people are like that?"
Siho: "Sure. They all want to have sex with children and turn them gay."

Werbung:
I watched Rachel Maddow last night, who I usually enjoy for her restraint on her bias on various issues and just sticking to good old journalism. Last night though I was cringing for her to stop as she BLEW it hugely with her guest Richard Cohen. He utterly denounced what was going on in Uganda and she had the gall to accuse him of having "blood on [his] hands"! The guy cannot control how someone interprets his book!
Yeah....especially due to his "error" of having included (in his book):

"Homosexuals are at least 12 times more likely to molest children than heterosexuals; homosexual teachers are at least 7 times more likely to molest a pupil; homosexual teachers are estimated to have committed at least 25 percent of pupil molestation; 40 percent of molestation assaults were made by those who engage in homosexuality."

Yeah....it's all-about interpretation.

Generalization?

You've overlooked Sihouette's suggestion that "Some o' [Sihouette's] best-friends are Gay."?? (...At least, all o' the one's Sihouette's polled, regarding their initial-introduction/initiation to the Gay Lifestyle. )

Human beings, perhaps? That is, human beings with nothing fundamentally wrong with them? Do you think the possibility exists that that is what they might be trying to 'pass themselves off as'?
Some of them, anyway. Others may not consider themselves entirely human, but that is a topic for another thread.

Oh, NO...Siho has snagged another NEWBIE to her 'MENTAL SPIDER WEB' so she can start the continual 'Cut & Pasting' of all the truly sick/perverse discussion about animal stimulation and how a DUMMY can imprint upon a horse just as with a innocent young person being imprinted by a sexual deviant {ergo that's way GAYS are so twisted - according to Siho}.

Walk away Sapphire...just walk away from this topic or you'll be stepping off into that 'BLACK HOLE' of the likes that you've never seen nor would you want to read ;)

Yeah, "walk away". That seems to be the pro-deviant sexual position on any subject that touches on the origins of their fixations. We're supposed to accept and grant deviant-sexuals [not all homosexual incidentally] into the mainstream definition of marriage, that young kids will factually aspire to, without fully understanding the total picture of the origins of sexual preference eh?

In a "perfect" world..lol..

There is no monolithic gay culture that every gay person is a part of or adheres to~jinx
Only just enough to form a lobby as a cohesive "GLBT" community to press for inclusion in marriage. I agree however that they don't have an innate set of characteristics that makes them a cohesive minority group, aside from the common thread of "anything-but monogamous heterosexuality".

When you start thinking about it the lines get really blurry. That's what we're here to do: to think about it and debate it instead of not think about it and just plunge ahead with blinders on.

I like your post, Saph, but it's way too subtle for Siho. As a member of the Artificial Insemination industry her job is to twist bovine sex drives so that they can collect the semen to sell. Since she knows that twisting the sex drive is possible, she has leaped to the conclusion that this is the only way in which gay people can come into existence. This ideas was helped along by her bad relationship with a bi-guy who left her for another guy and she's a woman scorned. She's got no education in biology or anything else as far as one can determine from her posts, but she can get semen out of a bovine like nobody's business. And that makes her an expert on gay people--acutally gay men, she's had little to say about lesbians.

If you think but don't have any information upon which to think, then the thinking is less productive. That's why you are reposting the tripe from last time.

I've only hired-out help in the equine branch of this industry. Never personally collected my stallion on a dummy mount. However I was careful to allow him access to an estrus mare before I sent him off to train. He now is properly "bisexual". It took the lady quite awhile to train him to the dummy but he eventually acheived climax and was imprinted on that too. So now he "swings both ways"..lol...

And no, it isn't perverted. He is a member of a rare horse breed developed by the native americans that almost went extinct. The surviving members are scattered around the world and shipping him directly to mares is cost-prohibitive. This is the genesis of most of the AI industry, cost reduction. A small package of sperm is much more cheaply shipped than a 1,000-2,000 lb. animal. So as a result of the AI industry, this rare breed and indian heritage is being preserved.....thankfully...

However I have studied bovine AI and you can too by using Google. That industry focuses more and more on feeding our nation by producing better and better beef that is leaner and more nutritive in quality year after year. Prized bulls weigh over 2,000 lbs often and are the most prohibitive of all to ship. Let's also not forget the endangered species who, worldwide, are being saved by the practice of AI. Genetic diversity insists that fragile species that often die via or through complications of being shipped can now increase their numbers and survive, even expand as the techniques become more and more refined.

Try expanding Mare beyond your transsexual agenda, include the thought that maybe, just maybe I know what I'm talking about..

Yeah, yeah, I worked in agri-business for 16 years, I know about AI, the difference is that I know about other stuff too. As a vegan for more than half my life now I also have less respect for the contributions of the meat industry knowing as I do about the costs--human, animal, environmental, and monetary.

It's not just the meat industry that is served. It's the protection of species that is served through AI that has found and does bank on the imprintability of sexuality across diverse species, mammals particularly..like the human mammal most particularly for the purposes of this discussion.

Tell me Mare, while on the subject of animal cruelty...what are your feelings about animal mutilation?

Here is a post by me from another site on that very subject:
This is a subject I have followed for several decades and I've been to one of the mutilation scenes. Here's a link to a Denver Post article that's a pretty good summation of what appears to be happening.
http://www.denverpos...age/ci_13956752

What intrigues me the most about this is that in more than 60 years of these mutilations taking place there has not been one arrest, not even one suspect linked to them. As noted in the article many of the animals appear to have been dropped from some height to where they are found. One bull was found impaled on a steel fence post, completely impaled with all the strands of barb wire pushed to the ground beneath him. Even if the bull could have jumped high enough to impale himself there is no way that he could have come down hard enough to run the steel post clear through his body.

The one mutilation scene I was able to go to was with my employer, a farmer who had raised cows most of his life, and the thing we noted was that all the cows in the pasture were huddled as far away from the mutilated cow as possible. This is odd because cows are not afraid of dead cows, they will graze around them and lie down next to them until the dead one begins to smell bad. But these cows--even two days after the mutilation--were not grazing and were bunched at the far end of the pasture.

In what context are you using the term?

He is a member of a rare horse breed developed by the native americans that almost went extinct. The surviving members are scattered around the world and shipping him directly to mares is cost-prohibitive. This is the genesis of most of the AI industry, cost reduction. A small package of sperm is much more cheaply shipped than a 1,000-2,000 lb. animal. So as a result of the AI industry, this rare breed and indian heritage is being preserved.....thankfully...

The last horse endemic to North America died out 11,000 years ago at the end of the Pleistocene. Any "rare horse breed developed by the native americans" comes from the Spanish reintroduction of the horse in the 16th century, so forgive me if I find it hard to believe that you are preserving any sort of "indian heritage". But hey, if it helps you sell semen, more power to you.

There is a breed of horses developed by the Northern Plains indians from those they traded for, captured or stole from wild herds and/or settlers. The breed is distinct, unique and tailored to their needs of the day. Your ignorance that Native American culture did not cease to exist the second Europeans set foot on their continent is embarassing. Please research your information a bit better next time OK?

This breed was subsequently watered-down by the introduction of inferior stock and has all but lost a feature or seven of their original breeding. A scant few hundred to the low thousands exist worldwide that are of the original Native American breeding and we struggle to preserve this breed on shoestring budgets, most of us. So AI is indispensible. A few of the animals are even approaching 99% of old blood in purity to native intent, one of which was an indispensible gait that renders these peculiar horses able to go up to a 100 miles a day in extreme example, without soring their riders or themselves. This gait was all but lost 30 years ago and thanks to a few remaining individuals we now have rising numbers of offspring showing the trait and we are hopeful that we can breed it back into the population.

So Mare I assume that the idea of mutilating a living being is abhorrent to you? You see where I'm going with this I'm sure by now so I'll just let it rest and let you mull it over..suffice to say that the mutilation of any living body is not the example [the norm] we want to set for others..

You're right, just like early Christians you apparently believe that repairing birth defects is a crime against God. Club feet and cleft palates were declared to be the Will of God and the Church forbade their repair once sugeons were able to do so. Heart surgery and replacement, new valves, kidney replacement, new knees and hips, cornea replacement, Caesarian section deliveries, plating broken bones, putting metal columns in to repair broken spines, tooth replacement, prosthetic limbs, surgical removal of cancerous tumors, skin grafts, hair transplants, body piercing, laser repair of varicose veins, gastric bypasses, hysterectomies, brain surgery to remove blood clots or repair skull fractures, facelifts, boob jobs, penile implants to alleviate erection problems, testicular implants to repair scrotal damage done in accidents or war, cutting the corpus collosum to cure certain mental problems, facial reconstruction after accidents, plastic surgery of all types... Oh yeah, we want to set a "normal" example.

Siho, you aren't even a good bigot because you just aren't smart enough. Do you really think ANYBODY on this site is taken in by your selective indignation? Only ignorant or really stupid people will buy what you're selling.
