We report preliminary data from a cohort of adults admitted to COVID-designated intensive care units from March 6 through April 17, 2020 across an academic healthcare system. Among 217 critically ill patients, mortality for those who required mechanical ventilation was 29.7% (49/165), with 8.5% (14/165) of patients still on the ventilator at the time of this report. Overall mortality to date in this critically ill cohort is 25.8% (56/217), and 40.1% (87/217) patients have survived to hospital discharge.

and yes covid killed a lot of people, it was a deadly disease at first especially, how many died from taking quack remedies like oleander instead of actual treatment, that's the issue.
and no, dying isn't murder. you are so stupid
god you are so stupid. lol
"The patients in front of me were unlike any patients I've ever seen. Clinically they look more like high-altitude sickness than pneumonia. The real illness may be a disfunction of the oxygenation of the blood. Doctors still need ventilators to treat patients but they should reflect on the treatment strategy because this is an entirely new disease"
During the early weeks of the COVID-19 outbreak, there was a lot of discussion about ventilators. In the beginning, people discussed the need for more ventilators in hospitals or the attempts to repair malfunctioning ventilators. In March is was estimated that although 960,000 patients in the US might need a ventilator, only about 200,000 machines were available. People are still talking about ventilators, but this month, the discussion has changed. A recent study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association reported that almost 90% of COVID patients placed on ventilators in New York between March 1 and April 4 died. The report shows that the mortality rate of those aged 65 and over was 97% and for those aged 18 to 65 was 76%. It's reported that generally 40% of patients with severe respiratory distress die while on ventilators. Over twice as many COVID patients are dying while intubated on a ventilator.Dr. Cameron Kyle-Sidell, Maimonides Medical Center, New York, March 31, 2020

Tripoli is an utterly useless poster who never makes any sense, and bores us all with Benny Hill clips.feel free to post a credible independent article showing that 90% of ventilator patients died overall.
but we both know you can't, you're just a right wing ****** who finds stupid headlines and rushes here to post them and then looks stupid when I make you look stupid with actual facts. lol
All Americans who carelessly allow and/or encourage leftists to get away with crimes and promote perversions are partakers of the sins of wicked lawmakers who promote wickedness. What you do not understand is that the republicans never even challenged this because they are part of the deep state that runs the USA too. So blaming just the dems is foolish. The president is in charge of nothing, so the party is irrelevant. What makes Trump different is that he just like JFK told the deep state NO, and then got canceled albeit differently than JFK did
right wing christian blather. lol.All Americans who carelessly allow and/or encourage leftists to get away with crimes and promote perversions are partakers of the sins of wicked lawmakers who promote wickedness.
