The continuing struggle for world power among capitalist nations will have a profoundly disastrous effect on the environment. Within the capitalist system, there is no possibility of dealing seriously with problems of the environment. It is not ethical maturity that is required, but rather the solidarity of the international working class in the struggle for socialism and an internationally planned economy. Only in this way can the crisis of global warming be addressed in a rational manner and a catastrophe for civilization be averted.

Well the graph below is typical although it's for Mauna Lao and
the data may have been tampered with by Climate scientists.

This plot shows some fits but not the data. If you want to discuss this, what is Mauna Lao (a volcano?), where did you get this plot, and where is the data behind the fits?

When we look at temperature in the last ten years it has decreased and appears to trending downward, but it should have continued increasing? Or did the global greenhouse go out of order for the past ten years?

Clearly you use a different definition of down than I do. Using my definition of down, I see no trend at all over the last ten years, just a lot of noise.

If you study these global temperature graphs you see a typical sine wave pattern
so we are probably heading downward in temperature for a couple more years now
if we extrapolate the data!

You have no way of predicting this. Temperature changes over small numbers of years are essentially random.

One did not specify a source and it actually shows temperature decreasing after 2000!

Look at the bottom of the page: "This image shows the instrumental record of global average w:temperatures as compiled by the w:NASA's w:Goddard Institute for Space Studies. The data set used follows the methodology outlined by Hansen, J., et al. (2006) "Global temperature change". Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. 103: 14288-14293." Don't argue with Wikipedia, argue with NASA/Hansen et al.

Note below how temperature decreased from 1998 to 2008

You picked the warmest year in history to start from (caused by El Nino), and end with a year that had a downward fluctuation in temperatures. That is pure data manipulation. Why didn't you compare 1997 and 2007 to prove that the globe is warming at a catastrophic rate? That would be equally deceptive.

The other shows satellite temperature mixed in which is fishy.

What do you mean "mixed". The satellite data was analyzed two different ways, leading to consistent results, which were both drawn on the graph. Why is that fishy, they clearly explained this in the caption? You'll have to give me some real reason why I shouldn't trust these measurements other than that wikipedia posted them or that you haven't read enough to understand them.

Have you ever seen that Al Gore Movie that is full of convenient lies?

"Lies" is a strong word, but it is very deceptive and I agree that you really shouldn't trust it. If you want to discuss global warming we can do that, but I really don't care about Al Gore.

Asur, I've seen a few rebuttals in scientific journals of the assertion that those stolen (and they were STOLEN) email communications from the East Anglia servers prove there is a conspiracy but I think these videos put the issue in clear perspective.

If you think the response is terse, it's to be expected. I think the entire scientific community is aghast that there are political forces that would either hire computer hitmen to steal personal property, whether it be data or communications or accept their stolen fodder and use it unquestioningly. We would not accept this in cell biology research either.
Well, in this instance karmic intervention had the last word however, because the deniers have not only felony egg on their face, but now look like a bunch of buffoons for trying to sell the public the equivalent of the Brooklyn Bridge.

Yes, we can't guarantee the global temperature will drop again. No man one can guarantee the future.
But isn't that what Climate Hoaxer's do?
They threaten us if we don't act all the Polar Bears will die and humanity also!

But if you look at the chart below you might see a sine wave so familiar in climate graphs.
Using common sense, my best guess is that next year the global termperature will decline!

Lets examine different months and different months can give different results!
Just connect the dots and you create black downward trend lines. although it's tricky to
pinpoint the years in this chart!

The trend appears to exist primarily in the last 10 years. The last ten years
have been a nightmare for the Global Hoaxers, because like I said, you can't hide heat without fudging data! Ie. ClimateGate
So where did the heat go between 1997 and 2008, you never answered my questions?

I showed you that 1997 was colder than 2007 according to the NASA data. The month of December is irrelevant, and I'm scared to respond to it because I don't know if you're going to start discussing December 16 at 4pm eastern time next. Oh, yes, Al Gore, serious scientist that he is, is fibbing about how fast the Arctic ice is melting.

Here's the real story:

In a year when the Arctic ice cap has shrunk to the lowest level ever recorded, a new analysis from Seattle scientists says global warming will accelerate future melting much more than previously expected.

About 40 percent of the floating ice that normally blankets the top of the world during the summer will be gone by 2050, says James Overland, an oceanographer at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory. Earlier studies had predicted it would be nearly a century before that much ice vanished.

So, Dr. Gore, Phd, the scientist who has spent a lifetime researching global climate change, has the timeline wrong.

And to further prove that global warming is a hoax, it's cold in Denmark.

If you want further proof, go to Michigan. It's cold there, too, a lot colder than it was just a few short months ago.

Mr. Sheep - I provided two distinct examples of temperature decreasing over the last 10 years. One was enough, because if global temperatures declined, there needs to be an explanation as to why? Fortunately we have this data now and even if we didn't, it wouldn't mean that man-made Global Warming isn't a Hoax. It is a hoax either way, but the data above makes it easier to prove.

I was awaiting an answer from you Mr. Sheep, but you came up with none!

Exhibit 6: A Convenient Lie (Al Gore)

American schools might be teaching it as fact, but Britain has found problems with it.


Mr. Justice Burton (Britain) said Al Gore's film, An Inconvenient Truth, was 'one-sided' and would breach education rules unless accompanied by a warning.

Despite winning praise from the hoaxers Mr Gore's documentary was found to contain 'nine scientific errors' by the judge, not just little old asur.

And guess what, all these errors were in the Hoaxer's favor, so they were not random, but conveniently in the the Snake Oil Salesman's favor!

To be honest, I'm not crazy about this exhibit but I am
interested in another major problem with his movie!
