What is the Trinity?

Jesus gave up his divine nature to become a man. he had only faith that he would survive the suffering and death. read the book, its all in there.

Jesus did not give up anything...if he was the son of god...and was god...died and came back to life...that sounds pretty Divine to me...If by dieing you cease to be a Human and go back to being God....not much sacrifice...Not much sacrifice if you are god...make yourself your own son...and choose to have yourself killed...I don't see the Sacrifice...A food cart owner in a poor African nation setting himself on fire and dieing to make a statement about his goverment...causing the biggest flow of change in the middle east to a form of Democracy...now there I see Sacrifice.

AS a Catholic I agree with you. Denominations are not important. Many are based on what country you are born. Just follow what you think God said and try to lead a good life. That all that required.

"follow what god said" what did God say? you can find many things that contradict ...even more if you go be what every Denomination says...

I will type slow for you...He gave up nothing...if he was God and died and is god...he gave up nothing...Its like if Spiderman says I will give up my powers, that I gave myself...and then a day later has them all back...and knowing he would get them back.

pocket ..His son left heaven ,came to earth ,died in an awful way..AND HE GAVE UP NOTHING..to leave heaven even for a day must have been awful..My son broke his arm and that was about all I could stand..]
Why do you care?

His sacrifice had to be costly and would require death by crucifixion, which would pay the penalty for our sin. Crucifixion is one of the most cruel and tortuous ways to die. When we think how Jesus died on the cross for us, it is to remind us of the cost of our sin, and God's love for us, in His willingness to personally die for us.God, in His mercy, has reduced the plan of salvation to simple faith, so that all people can be saved by believing God's promises and accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior...
