Looks like the S-is gonna-HTF on the Eastern Seaboard in the coming days.
I am telling friends to flee.

The inconvenience might be immense. o_O

Is this going to affect the election? It's only 11 days away.

    Remains to be seen.
Some have mentioned extending voting days if interruption occurs.

If any of you are on the east coast--let us know what is going on.
I have friends in NYC, Boston and Washington, DC--but have not heard much from them.
It appears to be--from what the predictors are saying presently--like an unusual convergence of weather systems.

Dennis Quaid has not gone out looking for his boy yet.
Roland Emmerich is on the edge of his seat.

shouldnt be more than annoying here where I am. NYC and Jersey should get a welcome power washing though.

I rode out a hurricane (the eye went over us) in a pop-up camper years ago. This thing will be hundreds of miles away, it'll be fine. We'll lose some trees but all our utilities are underground so I'm not that concerned.

It'll suck to be in the Garden State though but thats pretty much always the case isn't it ?

I hope everyone makes it through it all OK.
I think the possible annoyance of no power for days is the worst.
Ice storms--are the worst thing I know of. Been through a few.
    No power--you got NOTHIN"!!

Most younger folks get the *totality* of what they "know" about global warming from this movie.
Movies have destroyed the minds of many Americans.

What about Death Wish Johnny? That movie had the right idea about crime. If the Police cant do their job and protect you,,,You do it yourself. Like Charles Bronson did here.'

    So when cops do this

Of course--I have all five of the Death Wish Movies--revenge against scum is always entertaining.
I added "The Mechanic" as well--where Jan-Michael Vincent gets his reward.
Jan-Michael--talk about a guy who went downhill with the Hollywood lifestyle.

And--I have the DVD set of all the "Dirty Harry" movies. :D
