The best thing about this election, huh? Well, it is interesting, but whether or not that is for good or for bad is really up for debate, and I am going to go ahead and assume that most people would say that it is for the latter of the two. I guess the word entertaining also could fit, but again, probably more on the for the bad side of things. I guess we shall really see where it goes, and I am curious to see what the debates are going to be like. I will be staying tuned, of course, and thank you for sharing.

So you enjoy political ads ? I'd like never to see another.
Not expecting much from the "debates".

Well it's their fault for relying on advertisements from elections to support their network. It's stupid that people use certain things like this to ma good business for themselves.

That's like me building a lifestyle around making money off of prisoners. It's not like that's not already a thing, people are investing in prisons, which gives them the incentive to lock more people up, and give them longer sentences.

But it has declined over time, which means people making money from for profit prisons will need to find another source of revenue to support whatever they used that prison money for.

Companies running prisons have no control over arrests, convictions or sentencing.
They use their profits to benefit their investors. They don't need to replace revenue as they can just adjust their headcount. This was the basic point in outsourcing.

Politicians are dangerous. Anybody who wants power can't be trusted with it.

Voters are political enablers. The act of voting makes one an accomplice to the abuses of power to come. And believe me, all politicians abuse the power.

If you vote, you are almost as guilty as the politicians.

If you vote, you forfeit your right to complain or resist.

If you don't vote, you aren't part of the problem.

    That's why I don't vote.

Those who don't vote are the reason some candidates win elections they shouldn't have.

The way to effect change is by wading into the fray. Be a politician. Change your community, your town/city. That's how Socialism spread through Russia. Slowly. If the few people who wanted change ceased to oppose the Czarist government, a Czar would still beruling Russia.
