Rigged Nomination

I have come across more than one person who says Bernie owes the party an apology, instead of the other way around. They say he split the vote. I guess they are ignoring the fact that the nomination was rigged, and he had every right to be angry (but even then he towed the party line and threw in for Hillary).

I'd love to hear from one Hillary supporter that this kind of tactic is not okay (I won't hold my breath).

Bernie is the most honest, selfless, fair, and principled politician we have seen in my 60 years of watching. I predicted this will be the "election of regrets" as people chose two very flawed candidates and rejected Bernie. Now republicans largely regret voting for Trump and many democrats are having second thoughts about Hillary. We had our chance and the voters blew it.

Lol Only a moron would support a brain-dead Communist like Sanders.

Communists are people who pretend to care about working folk, but really despise working folk. Communists desire dictatorship.
Well now. Can you name for me a communist country that has genuine socialism? And tell me how you know it's genuine socialism.

No textbook socialist or communist countries ever.
Why ?
It's anathema to politicians to be either.
Well, that's not true. There have been several socialists who were wildly popular and were voted into office in several countries. Venezuela comes to mind. Now let's not get into a debate over how that turned out because that's not the subject; it would be a diversion. The point is that the statement that "no textbook socialist or communist countries ever" is misleading at best. There has been no "textbook" capitalist country either, especially in the U.S.

Sounds like you want to get down on your knees and service that wrinkly old charlatan. Gross.

Don't be such a fool. Sanders supports Wall Street tool/incompetent war-monger Hillary.

Then you must also believe FDR was a communist and tried to install a dictatorship. You are the one who is the fool here. You have only talking points about what socialism is and what communism has been. If you only read anti-socialist right wings sources like NYPost, you only get an anti-socialist viewpoint but not anything that can be called objectivity.

Your opinions and judgements on such things don't advance the discussion or your image. It makes you look cheap and more interested in offending than discussing.

And he's a . . . . . . "communist"??? I think you contradict yourself. You certainly demonstrate a lack of insight.

Hugo ? You're kidding right ?

You said "No textbook socialist or communist countries ever. Why ? It's anathema to politicians to be either."
I indicated Venezuela and Hugo as a socialist country and a socialist. Are you saying he isn't?

Not any more, he's dead.
But he was a dictator.

You are changing the subject. Let's review the discussion.
I said to Hammerhead "Can you name for me a communist country that has genuine socialism? And tell me how you know it's genuine socialism."

You replied for him and said there is no socialist country.

I asked if that included Venezuela.

Now you switch to discuss whether Hugo was a dictator. A fascist is a dictator. A communist of the type of Stalin and Mao is a dictator. So telling me that gets us nowhere. I think you want to avoid the discussion. OKfine.
