it's all just Status Quo ...Liberal Republicans and the Socialist Democrats - they both have a flame on the same candle ...
It's too bad that 99.9% of the forum activity on the internet is just a cry session of one sort or another and both sides are JUST pointing fingers at the other side.
and they are both a useless mess and not a functional solution for a Constitutional Republic!

A Republic by definition is a Representative Democracy.
That means... the people choose how they want to be represented. You may hate the fact that we don't live way back in 1776 anymore. You may hate knowledge and advancement. Hell you may even want to put slavery back into the Constitution because it is such a flawless document that you feel you must lament any changes or modern interpretations of.
After all, maybe you put some bizarre God inspired connection to things like slavery and no rights for women and other now quite obvious mistakes. I mean maybe you do believe God really wanted things that way back then, and maybe still today.
I fully understand that there are those with your opinion. But when you look at what you're really bringing to the table... really break it down in print and read it. Consider the pain death and suffering in the Civil Right movement and the Women's Suffrage movement etc....
For as good as it is it's certainly not infallible. So the flame you would offer us is not an enlightened one at all. It's more like a military flamethrower saying to hell with the modern age and people in need, let's all go backward to the wonderfully primitive and restrictive time of 1776.
I think Americans who think will continue to say... No thank you, to that.
