I guess you found it hard to completely wash off the dirtyness, grit and grime permeating a soul that had to overlook the blatant bribery, vote buying, out and out lies, fiscal trickery, smarmy proceedural tactics, emotional extortion, non-transparency, and arrogant ignoring of the will of the people...all to exact yet another blow to Constitutionally guaranteed equal, unalienable rights for the sake of long coveted agenda, political power, and to satisfy a Presidents massive ego.

You really need to study civics a bit more. The process is called Legislation & that's the way it has always been, is now & always will be. (You know that Web.....It's the same process you GOP type used to force tax cuts for the rich down out throats...which was not paid for & our Grand-kids will be paying all their lives)

All your side of the aisle can do is talk, lie & yell. Last elections we threw you guys out of the WH & control of Congress. Now, the hc issue has become YOUR Waterloo, not Obama's.
This hc bill is already gaining popularity & will keep the Dems in control of Congress & the WH though at least 2016. (You really know that though, right?)

Preexisting is damn important id you have one as most Americans do or will at some point have. Helps Americans avoid millions of bankruptcies over the years. Even the Republicants admitted it was VERY important to find a way to cover preexisting conditions. The difference is the Dems found a way and didn't just talked it to death.

Doing nothing would have only allowed your health insurance costs to continue to at the least double every ten years. Everyone can afford this new plan. When a person making over 200k per year says they can't afford the eventual minimal increase in their Medicaid tax even though it will be offset by the stabilizing of their insurance premiums themselves they are simply being disingenuous.

what an ass! People can afford it? ... that is why so many people in places like New York with $400,000.00 homes are going bankrupt! ... they can afford it - huh? quit being self centered and realize that what passed basically helps the grunt force and not those who try to be more!

AND ... who do you think you are to assume WHEN a person can afford something?

And we all like having AUTO INSURANCE because we don't want to have to pay for injury or repairs when we would be hit by an uninsured driver. Nor do we want to pay the higher premiums ourselves because a large section of the population "might choose" not to be responsible and carry coverage. Let' not forget that the first $1000 every insured person pays in premiums EVERY YEAR goes to pay for health care for the indigent. We are paying for it either way. This new way is light years better for all the reasons I've already mentioned.

BUT - if you can NOT afford auto insurance - you can take a bus ...

FACTS: AMERICANS WILL BE MEDICALLY SECURE NOW AND THE HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANIES WILL NO LONGER BE ALLOWED TO DO MANY OF THE THINGS THAT LEFT AMERICANS TO DIE OR IF THEY WHERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO SURVIVE GO BANKRUPT FROM MEDICAL BILLS.

All one has to do is not get caught up in the political grandstanding and think a little about reality. I personally have great medical insurance. My company pays more with seniority. It starts at a 50/50 split of an employees insurance policy cost and every 5 years of seniority the company picks up another 10%. At 13 years in for me they pay 70% and I pay only 30%.

That's great... right this second. But unlike teabaggers it appears I'm smart enough to think a little further out than just my next paycheck. If I were to quit or get fired I'd have no coverage. Or if I were still working but got seriously ill to where I then could not continue to work I would soon after lose my medical coverage completely. At only 53 I would not qualify for Medicare and all of my assets including my paid off home would be on the chopping block. This was happening thousands of times everyday to Americans before this HISTORIC REFORM.

Great job President Obama & Speaker Pelosi and thanks for fighting FOR Americans to have not only quality healthcare but a more secure future regardless of health issues.

The differences between wanting to help and wanting to hurt are personified in these clips. I'm proud to be on the side of the President. Looking at both sides, honestly the crazy teabagger side is not even a rational option.

a company here is getting a NEW medical insurance for the employee's ...

It's a 20/ 80 policy - so insurance pays 80% and the person pays 20% of the hospital stay or medical bill.

This particular policy the employee pays 1/2 the insurance cost at $150.00 a week

AND ..... a $5,000.00 dollar deductible

IF they use this policy for a several day hospital stay it cost them $12,800.00 PLUS 20 percent of the bill in that one year ...

and they call this a win??
