Well I would say Pockets is just a typical run of the mill liberal. But, he is not too far left and I think loves his country.

Gipper, I think you're underestimating Pockets. Pockets is just as far left as Stalin is.

The only difference between the two is that Stalin is capable of spelling words correctly, putting together coherent sentences, and has at least average intelligence. Stalin may be "out there where the buses don't run", but Pockets rides the "blue" bus.

I can agree with most of that, but I still think Pockets is salvageable. Stalin is a hardcore true believer. The difference between the two may be slight.

Remember, this is the internet. None of us know who anybody else really is. The internet is based on the "honor" system, and many people simply have no honor.

For all we know Pockets is some pimply-faced high school kid who sits in his parent's basement in his underwear, with a bag of Cheetos and a Mountain Dew, playing on the computer until bedtime.

Stalin could be a gangly college computer geek who has never dated a girl, sitting in his dorm room with his computer, Ramen noodles, and vitamin water, while everybody else in the dorm are doing jello shots, running through the halls half-dressed, smoking dope, etc.

Everyone gets carried away with my facetious "guillotine" comments and do not address the statements made in the cited blog. The blog was the intent of the post. Read it, and "correct" the "misinformation", please!

It's the Rick Ungar blog. Ungar is in favor of Unions. His blog post shows that he believes that the only way public unions can actually receive all of their dues is to take the dues by force. He doesn't want the rank-and-file to be able to vote on union behavior and policies with their money. There's very little misinformation here, just a very good view into the mind of a guy who's having a meltdown because some people may actually get a little more control over how their money is spent.

I would say the only real bit of misinformation is when Ungar blames "the wealthy" for the current anti-union sentiment. There are plenty of working-class people who object to public employee unions. I am one of them.
