Will she make it that far? No one is more responsible for the loss of Massachusetts than she is. Has any political leader been more despised by the citizenry?
If the POTUS were clever, he'd throw her under the bus. He is currently polling at twice the approval of the speaker, even though he is polling at less than 50% approval. Do the math, someone has to go, and it should be the one on the bottom of the polls. I think the fact the President isn't sitting at the bottom with the speaker reflects that fact that many Americans still want to see him succeed (personally, if not his current policies). This gives him an out, if he's willing to take it.
He should say that she has led the Democratic party into the ditch because of her autocratic leadership style, inflexibility, and undue secrecy and he should encourage the Congress to replace her as speaker. Then he could "start over" with "his" health care plan, invite a few squishy Republicans to join him and other congressional and senate leaders in open discussions in the White House, and start salvaging his administration. I bet he won't do it.
So the question becomes, will the Blue Dogs attempt to remove Pelosi and take over? If they don't, they're toast. Perhaps Hillary, sensing an opportunity from a President who is tanking, will bolt his administration and see how many Blue Dogs she can take with her. Might make for an interesting 2012 primary season.
