Make statements you can't back up?
Yes, apparently I missed the '04 update. And the ruling was stayed and lzter reversex. Curiously enough because the father of the student was ruled as having no standing. Per the Snopes link at least. they dont always get it wrong.
yeah odd grounds to be sure.Yes, apparently I missed the '04 update.
I find it interesting that it was over turned on the basis that Newdow did not have the legal standing to bring the case to begin with.
It was not overturned based on the Constitutionality of the Pledge. How long do you think it will be before that Constitutionality is challenged again?
Regardless .... there are endless stories on the net about schools either no longer saying the Pledge or it being challenged.

Yes I agree ....yeah odd grounds to be sure.
you find it odd that Asher Holns elen is stopping a pledge of allegence to the school teacher and (by the way) flag ?
If a locality wants it, its their call. Local standards should matter most.
not really, they bought into liberal claptrap. and as a result set themselves on the road to financial woes that will eventually (and generally too late) sink them. but as they say, its a free country and people are free to be as smart or stupid as they please. freedom isnt always pretty but it can be pretty special.Yes I agree ....
But, one has to wonder how we got to these "local standards".
Fox .... CBS ..... Snopes .... take your pick!

The Wednesday ruling, if allowed to stand, would mean schoolchildren could no longer recite the pledge, at least in the nine Western states covered by the court.
linkIn Mr. Newdow’s latest case against “under God” in the Pledge, the Ninth US Circuit Court of Appeals panel ruled, in a 2-to-1 decision, that the schoolroom routine for millions of children is not a violation of the Constitution, but a historical reflection of the Founding Fathers’ beliefs that “serves to unite our vast nation.”
Yes ....Aha! You actually tried to back up your statement, good job!
However... from your first link:
So, that brings up the question of whether it was allowed to stand:
link
Apparently, it was not, and the Pledge, complete with "under god" is still being recited by schoolchildren all over the nation.
Oh, and the other stuff I posted, about prayer and that, I was right about that, too.
I could do that.Yes ....
That point was already discussed .... sorry you missed those comments .....
However, if it fits your agenda or even more brilliantly so IF you would do some research for yourself you would see this is happening in schools across America even without a Court Order.
Or, you can choose denial ..... again .......
Remaining in a state of denial about the current events in the news today is not exactly a "challenge" .....I could do that.
Or, I could challenge you once again to back up your words (in vain, no doubt, but I could do that.)
Can't find a credible source, huh?Remaining in a state of denial about the current events in the news today is not exactly a "challenge" .....
Just because you refuse to acknowledge the stories being reported daily on this topic or any other does not mean it isn't so!
