American capitalism was quite different before the leftist invasion of Democrat election thieves. Since abandoning God and turning the nation over to ungodly crooks and thugs, the new American capitalism is being transformed into what is essentially a redefined old version of Marxist communism. There are no 100% Communist countries. Even in North Korea, people own their own clothes.
There are no 100% capitalist countries in which the government only protects the borders and private property.
Every nation on this planet is partly socialistic and partly capitalistic.
Perfect systems (Utopias) are not actually possible, because there are many factors, such as the weather, earthquakes, floods, droughts, hurricanes that are outside human control. Also such things as finding precious resources and technological innovations, occur at random and alter the balance of who is most valuable to society.
So we can only do as the Lexus commercials state: relentlessly pursue perfection, even knowing that it is a moving target and cannot be ever entirely achieved. As British philosopher Jeremy Bentham has said, the best government is what benefits the most people the most of the time.
And that can only be done with a mix of capitalism and socialism.
Communism is rule by one state that makes all social and economic decisions. That causes corruption, because there are very few people as selfless as José Mujica or Nelson Mandela, and even if the are running the show, they are not immortal. So Communism is a flawed system, just as libertarianism is flawed.
Democratic Socialism is the best we can do.
Why Stakeholder Capitalism Will Fail
Stakeholder Capitalism will fail today for the same reason it failed in the 20th Century: it fails to establish corporate ‘true North’
