I think the Han Chinese have occupied most of China for all or recorded history. The First Emperor to rule most of China was Qin Shi Huang, who ruled between 259 and 210 BC. The empire collapsed four years after his death.
The point is that the Great Wall of China was perhaps effective for a while, but eventually it did not prevent invasion from non-Han people from the north.

DNA was not discovered until a century after Darwin.
That said, DNA has existed as long as there have been living beings on this planet.

It is entirely possible that DNA was first created under conditions that have not been duplicated yet, possibly conditions that could occur on some other planet.

The Great Wall of China s not all that visible from space. Go on Google Earth and see for yourself. What IS really visible from space are the large lakes formed by damming up rivers around the world: Lake Mead, Lake Nassar, the lakes formed by the Three Gorges Dams in China and such.
