It is entirely impossible that most prices in the supermarket will actually decrease. That happens only with a few items, like dairy and eggs and vegetables. What Trump wants to do is to put a 10% tariff on all imports.

That would include Canadian potatoes, Mexican avocados, Chilean Sea Bass, Peruvian Quinoa. and he also claims that the prices of these items would not rise due to the tariff.

This is because Trump is either lying or really, really dumb.
