Interesting concept but there is clearly no basis in reality when Hillary had to pay to have a dossier manufactured to accomplish this.
Why is it bad to have improved relations with a large country ? Hillary certainly tried and failed to do this multiple times as secretary of state. Remember her reset button ?

That's not deflecting.

This so called "Russian Meddling" you are referring to happened during Obama's presidency, not Trump's.

It was Obama who knew of this meddling and chose to do nothing about it.
