Truth is not a path, it is just the opposite of falsehood. The world is neither fallen nor wicked. It has never been perfect for people, it will never be perfect. Perfection is a goal to be aimed for, but even if something is perfect now, it will not stay perfect, because there are many factors that cannot be anticipated.
To Thomas Jefferson, perfect transportation was a horse or perhaps a horse drawn coach. By the 1920's an automobile was more perfect than the horse, because it was faster and you only had to feed it when you needed it, unlike the horse, that had to be fed forever.
Then faster cars and paved roads were better than the old muddy dirt and gravel roads.
