OMG. You mean brain-geniuses like you and OT will no longer respect my views?
[SARCASM]Oh please... PLEASE reconsider, because in this brief time that I've known you I've glimpsed the awesomeness of you knowledge and wisdom. If only the world could know of your brilliant minds, people would dance in the streets, goodness would flow in abundance, and flowers would fly from everybody's a$$.[/SARCASM]
[SERIOUS]You don't want to listen to me or respect me, you go right ahead. Guess how much respect I have for you. No... go on, try. Well guess what? In reality, it's even a little less than that.[/SERIOUS]
See you at the polls, fools.
I get the impression from your posts that you are quite young, and naive. Probably college age.
Myself, I will soon be 66 years of age, and have seen the changes in the country from when I was a child, and what we had then, and what others have now. I have seen the shift in morals, honor, and ethics.
Here in Oregon where I grew up, I can remember the days when we had no speed limit; the time when a man could earn enough to pay for his home, and support a family, by himself; a time when he could afford to take his family camping, or on vacations; the time when herds of deer 300-400 head strong roamed the countryside; the time when one could keep his house unlocked without fear; when a woman, or a child, could walk the streets without fear. Those are the "good ol days" that the left claims can never be brought back.
25 years ago the "progressives" took control of the State in particular Multnomah, and Lane, counties where the majority of the people live. Since then wages have dropped, businesses have left, the deer are gone, and the cost of living has greatly increased. In the past year we have seen taxes increased; fishing/hunting licenses increased; registration/title/drivers license fees, have doubled, and tripled; tobacco tax quadrupled; property taxes have increased; gas tax increased; etc. At the same time we saw the public employees get their pay raise, and the public employee retirement plan (PERS) guaranteed raise fulfilled.
Recently we voted on what was called Prop 67, and 68, which was touted as necessary to insure the teachers get paid, and PERS paid. Within a month the Governor wanted to pass a 1% sales tax (Oregon does not have a sales tax) and what was the excuse? To guarantee teachers pay. That is how openly unethical these liars are, and it is the same throughout the nation.
Those are the people you, and others like you who lack the ability to think for yourself, have hung your future on. It is destroying the country, and you cannot see it.
