The only possible nuke strike would be a very targetted bunker busting sort, one that directs its energy down as in where iran is making its fissionable material.

Dog it taught the Japs an lesson in 1945. They know now not to mess with us again. If you use nukes on IRAQ,Pakistan and on Syria ill bet y'all they're think twice before committing another attack on our soil.

At least partly correct, starting with the invasion of Iraq, ending with the withdrawal leaving it in a state of turmoil leading to civil war. It's hard to see what could have been done differently in Syria, however.
Nuclear bomb? If there is a nuclear explosion, it will most likely come from the Islamic crazies getting a bomb, perhaps one that the old Soviet Union lost track of, and setting it off in the US or Europe. We do need to be on guard for that.
The nutters are a long way from establishing their caliphate right now, but that is their stated goal. Luckily for us, there still are sane individuals in the ME who don't want to see them succeed. Working with those entities would be more productive than simply using military force.

A nuclear explosion, while not out of the question, is obviously the most extreme example of terrorism. But, it is extremely possible that we will be attacked again, and that attack will be a direct result of the failure of our foreign policy under the current administration. It is the failure to execute the war to its definitive conclusion.
As for the new caliphate, it is a fact - I do not believe you will see it go away. It has structure, it has weapons, it has land, and it has oil ... everything you need to start your own country. More importantly, it doesn't have organized resistance. They're not nutters ... they are committed religious zealots. The only thing worse than that is committed liberal zealots in the White House.

I'm not sure I see that big of a difference. Both are committed to the destruction of this Country and the destruction of our Freedom and Liberties!
Fissionable material is certainly one of the more radioactive substances there are right ?
We can "see" human forms through concrete walls and from some distance.
Would it be farfetched to think we can "see" radioactive objects ?
Given the zeal some bad guys had trying toget nuclear weapons (think Hussein) isnt it a little odd none have ?
