Should there be a law against public institutions that lie for money?

People in religious institutions make their choices to give money into the collection plate. That isn't a crime. There are hundreds of legitimate needs to be done for charity among the people in their communities: Rehabilitation centers for drug addicts wanting recovery and support, orphanages, hospital visits to the lonely and loss, veterans, half-way houses... etc... Churches and religious communities are doing their duty to help in making some of the poor situations to help better their fellowmen's poor condition. And the government should back them up. On the other hand, religious and secular institutions and corrupt governing politicians who steal from the people should be accountable to the law and justice of the land.

About preachers 'who like superstars' making a lot of money through people's 'hand-outs' and not a cent being shared (I don't know) to the poor, their work -- good or for evil selfish gain--will surely follow them and haunt them all their days.

Every citizen is answerable to the laws of the land.

Correct and so is every corporate citizen and that is what charities and churches are. That is why they should not have access to my tax dollars that need to be taken from me to pay the share that their lies have exempted them from paying.

You may want to live with wholesale liars all around you who dip their hands into your tax pocket but I resent them and think we should all try to protect the more gullible folk who fall pray to those bastards.

You may not care about your fellow man being lied to but I do.

I think we can scientifically show that snakes and donkeys cannot speak any human languages.

We have accepted lies that we say we cannot prove wrong but that is a cop out.

Huh?? I think you're so caught up in your own BS that you've gone off the rails completely here.

Hahahaha! Thanks for pointing out that the Emperor has no clothes! :ROFLMAO: All the phony agenda crap is really tedious to wade through, isn't it? Sometimes I make the mistake of getting side tracked, and falling into the long drawn out stream of BS. Sometimes a simple "...knock it off!" will do just fine.

Exactly. Just go back and read through the thread. I don't even think he can keep up any more.

.

How so?

Are you saying that science cannot prove that snakes and donkeys cannot speak human speech?

Or are you just coping out and trying to make your B.S. baffle my brains by making me doubt a true statement?

That is a losers tactic. Show that you are a winner.

Yep it's gettin' deep! I think this guy has a real issue with sobriety, or lack of it. I was going to reply to his last post, but then I saw this:

No, I'm saying snakes and donkeys speaking human speech have nothing to do with the discussion at hand. I get that changing the subject is a typical tactic, but most people generally try to be a bit more subtle about it.

Ah, now on to patronizing. How cute.

Correct. The issue was lying and I just gave a couple of examples.
