Why should he though. We have taken a great number from all over and have millions of illegals Obama wouldn't have lost votes either. He was done. Why can't Aussie land keep them if they are so great.

I always hear how we need to stop being the world police. I think we need to stop being the worlds flop house too and some of these other countries need to start taking the refugees instead of trying to make us take way more than our fair share.

So the ausies will be upset if these people are admitted as they arrived on boats and Americans have had enough.

Meanwhile these people are in detention camps which nobody seems to have a problem with.

Australia made an arbitrary decision to take control of these people and are looking for excuses to own them off.

some have been there 3 years. Australia dos take as many refugees as the USA even in Obama time. They just will not take people who arrive illegally by boat. Unlike The USa we have no land border. So these refugees were pick up at sea. Should we have left them drown.

If obama couldn't deal with it in the 2 to 3 years they have been there why should you expect trump to deal with it 2 to 3 weeks in his administration? Let's find a country who hasn't taken their fare share and ship them that way

We often arrested the Indonesian crew or people smugglers or even took their boats. But this did not stop them until we refused to let them land in Australia.

This is now the policy of both major political parties. It was not done in the past for several reasons> Like in Europe we underestimated the numbers ,It was also done for humanity reasons. The refugees we are trying to get rid of arrived in the period. Once gone we expect no more.
