The US is burdened down under more than $35 trillion in funded debt with 3 or 4 times more unfunded debt. The US debt increases when lawmakers, led by the representatives in the House Ways and Means Committee, authorize federal spending. Two thirds of the entire US debt was added by democrat budget writers of democrat controlled Congresses.

Democrats have added more than $20 trillion to the US debt while republicans have added far less than that. Government budgets and spending takes place in the House Ways and Means Committee. Presidents do not write budgets and do not spend money unless they decide to donate billions of dollars to thugs around the world without court or congresssional approval.

Since 1929 democrats have controlled government spending for 66 of the years and have increased the US debt by more than $22 trillion. Republicans during that time have controlled the House for 20 years and have added more than $11 trillion to the total US debt.

There is a right way and a wrong way to deal with hunger. One wrong way to deal with hunger is for fascist officials and governments to strip the wealthy of their earned assets and divide the confiscated spoils among the poor with worthy portions siphoned off the top for the handlers in charge of redistributing the assets to the poor.

I admit I am happy I do not have to try to hammer out details about tariffs in congressional debates, given the fact that there are no hard and fast rules to go by and that there are sizeable numbers of both benefits and harms associated with tariffs.
